Glitch delaying government delivery of stimulus checks

There's a glitch in the government's plans to pump $150 billion into the economy by sending taxpayers a rebate: The rebates aren't arriving.

i received my rebate into my checking account today...right on schedule. a few people i suppose have a problem (chances are they didn't file on time or didn't have direct deposit or they didn't provide the correct information) so the good ole sun-sentinel does what they do best...magnify a problem totally out of proportion ... the gov't doesn't know what's it's doing or it's an economic disaster for south florida, blah blah blah.

Don't count on what you should not have normally gotten. Count on this money to pay a bill on time is a sign of sheer irresponsibility or better said stupidity. This money has stirred up nothing but typical american irresponsibility and gotten the attention of scam artists ranging from the street scammer to MACY's marketting dept.

What TAX rebate? People who did not pay tax get it, while those who did pay taxes over a certain income don't. Call it what it is...welfare.

I didn't get one because I had to amend my return and the amended return is holding it up. It would not normally come as someone else said, so whenever I get it, I will use it for things that I probably could not normally get. That is a way to boost the economy right?

Imagine this issue that Sun Sentinel didn't touch on. I filed through TurboTax and owed money. I had the money taken from my bank account, so the IRS has my account information, but I will be getting a check instead of direct deposit because either TurboTax didn't do what they were supposed to or the IRS didn't. I can't find out which. So, I have to wait until June 20th because I owed money on my taxes. Tell me how that isn't a problem!

I filed my return electronically and received my refund via direct deposit earlier than I thought. No problems here!

The stimulus check is as big a joke as president bush is. His first 4 years were a major disaster,but the 2nd 4 there isn't any way in any language to describe what he has done to this country.We know he doesn't have to worry about a stimulus check.He's a Texan oilman.He should tape his speech's &and listen to himself.4th.grade level.but he doesn't have to think that hard now.thankfully he's done!!!
