Generation of Ag Nanoparticles by PAMAM Dendrimers and their Size Dependence on the Aggregation Behavior of Dendrimers
Stable silver nanoparticles were generated in aqueous medium by amine, hydroxy and carboxylate terminated poly(amidoamine)(PAMAM, CY Dendrimer Technology Co., Ltd) dendrimers. PAMAM can act both as reducing and stabilizing agents. while amine terminated PAMAM dendrimers generate spherical type metal nanoparticles with uniform size, carboxylate terminated PAMAM dendrimer provides size and shape flexibility for metal nanoparticles. So that we can choose the kind of terminal groups of PAMAM to prepara Ag nNanoparticles.
