This is a reply for Doris. Stop crying! For someone to hold a position you did, with any company, being a crybaby is a poor poor attribute. You did Autozone a favor by leaving so someone with the willingness and drive could take over and make Autozone better as a company. Every company strives for better customer service. That starts at the top. Lead by example. At the risk of this seeming like a personal attack you seem like the type that would join the military and start crying about getting shot at. I feel sorry for all the Autozoners that had to put up with you during your term of unfortunately horrible employment. More horrible for the company than you and those that worked for you. In the future you would do well to be more motivated to lead those who work for you (heaven forbid) properly and with no whining and crying. We need leaders leading leaders. Not crybabies holding leaders back from stepping up and doing what is needed for all to succeed.

bottom line cut cut cut hours , cim, project packs ,test,no wonder service sucks they want you to offer someone a product and make a sale to save your own butt (not that the customer needs it the very same customer you saw 3 days ago lol),your so stressed about tests and these ridiculous push items you cant think to help your customer Im am amazed at how far retail will go to keep the uppers comfortable and all the part time help no wonder you cant train them they work 8 hrs a week lol walmart still the worst on customer service and long lines 23 registers come on peolple open them up ,at least i have that comfort

War. Everyone thinks it a war between co-workers, management, companies. Not everything has a alternate agenda. Each company has the goal of profits for their share holders. Each company is at bay to their trust in their choice of management and their choices. Some areas stores are great to work for while others suck. It all depends on which one you happened to be hired by. Times are extremely tough and I am thankful for having a job. Face it. each of us are here due to are decisions. If you can afford a change and are unhappy, than a change might be in order. Might I suggest that you have something lined up before you say quit. Meanwhile, the type of work you do and the person you portray is who you really are. Hate your job and don't care what type of service you give, then thats who you are. Give it your all and put all the petty crap behind you until something else comes along, then you and everyone you come in contact with will benefit. As for customers with complaints, who hasn't been to different stores of the same chain and received completely different service. There again, depends which employee you happened to interact with during that the experience that brought you to this blog. Hope everyone the best...

I was a good hard worker. Now I get threated with my job everyday in everyway possible. Don't bother working for advanced it just doesn't pay. Wish I could quit now but desperate for the low pay the give us. We got a new 1st Asst, RM and DM. My manager is now going off the deep end and comming after all the parts pro's. He even read me something yesterday from corporate that says we will become parking lot diagnosis specialist WTH is that. Advance has lost its mind I am desperately looking to get a job, don't work there if you can avoid it. Project packs and item of the month is the most important and kissing the customers rear everyway possible wrong or right doesn't matter.

I invest my cash and I want a good return on my investment. Treating workers badly is NOT the way to get that return. How can a unhappy, underpaid worker be expected to give customers their moneys worth.

I always prefer to purchase used auto parts or used car from an authorized dealer like last time I purchased used car engine from http://www.automotix.net/usedautoparts.html , they offered me genuine used part that was OEM certified for different types of car models. They have an inventory for over 85 Auto Makes with over 30 million genuine used parts.
