Our kids quality of life will suffer, not improve, from Obama policies. My business will be stifled in an already challenged economy.

Seeing like 4 as my number of total posts at first. When did you actually start posting here? 1924? :-) \ I think in March 05 is when I started...I had gotten in touch with a newspaper...wrote something to them via e mail, and then it put me through topix...It was all a strange experience...

Because that is what a lot of people are screaming about, they are now going to have to supply a health coverage...If you are bringing in a certain amount...

Does she magically agree with you? Is a woman/women (or man/men) who disagrees with you somehow without a brain? "I think we can clearly state, that Palin is too much of a DOI, to be running in any Government position..." Who is "we"? DOI? What is that? Cold shower? Yeah. Sure. If you say so. Wish I had the time to play with you...but I don't just popped in for a sec... I'll be on this evening...

They never needed the money. Check this out. They gave an investor a half a billion dollars in interest just weeks before receiving a bailout that was supposedly necessary to save the world economy????? http://dealbook.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/10/17/... Yet they got billions and billions of dollars of OUR money. Bush started the bailout nonsense. But Obama was more than glad to keep it going. And, trillions and trillions of dollars of our money has been given away in just one year. When in the history of the US of A has anything like this happened before, especially with an unemployment rate higher than EVER if you include self employed people out of work. Glad you think this is a time to relax. Same to you Morning, and I am reading your post later, already skipped another of yours, cause I answered someone's post...always this back and forth going through posts... Hope you all have a great day, and those left with jobs and homes and all, be thankful...

Why don't we wait and see, what happens how things will develop.... He's not going anywhere for another 3 years...And odds are we are going to stick around too... I know people that are going down, that scrape money for items, but they are not writing letters to anyone? Why is that? And people that have nothing to worry about don't write either... If topix were America's representative, wow sure, but we know it's not...Most on here use the site for game time... Anyways wish I had the time to talk now, but I don't...

RJF Dupage wrote: <quoted text> Obama is NOT supposed to be in charge of a whole bunch of countries. Did somebody forget to tell him that? Even in this country a president is supposed to have limited power. As Ritedownthemiddle says, you seem to be on the fence. We can't let you slip off to the wrong side. Obama's close ties to Forest City, ACORN and terrorist organizations convinced me long ago of his excessive evil. I didn't want to bore people here with too many Forest City links, but I think I need to show you the connections between Obama and not only Forest City, but also other slumlords, terrorists, ACORN and criminal Bankers. Over the next fews days you'll see a lot of links that should convince you. Ok one more post, I will try to read up on as much as I can, the best time for that would be Saturday mornings...Sundays would be good too, oh and Friday evening, weekend...So save the links for then... I am not on the Fence...I am for the people...but the people have to be for themselves and make some noise...I totally agree we have to have a better system, and I for one would like to lean on the person that has been in office... It doesn't scare me to work with a Government...One that supports not one that rips people off, and we soooo much that needs improving, that it's really kind of hard knowing where to get started... I think each State needs to make it work for what is needed within...I am sure Cali...can not compare to another as another can not compare to let's say Idaho...anyways...laters

Now it's Obama's turn to stand up and tell us all about the SEIU members wearing doctor coats in the photo op. If Hannity can do the honorable thing do you think maybe our President could too? reeltime wrote: Claiming he "screwed up," Hannity "apologizes" for airing "incorrect video" of 9-12 protests while discussing Bachmann rally http://mediamatters.org/mmtv/200911110053

More of the Mark Lloyd spin to fabricate a need for government run media to protect us from the big bad Fox and talk radio. What the psychology is failing to recognize is that the more you beat up on something and tell us to stay away from it, the more we defend it and stand by it. Pelosi did more to encourage the tax protesters to organize than any organizers could have. Thanks Reeltime, the gossip you generate here makes us stronger. reeltime wrote: ...."Indeed, it's a media movement that's doing it's best to obliterate the line between journalism and politics. As I've been noting for some time, Fox News has transformed itself into the Opposition Party of the Obama White House. So it makes sense that, as a purely partisan player, Fox New would immerse itself in backroom horse-trading. It makes sense that rather than covering the campaigns and the candidates, Fox News would insert itself as a political player within Republican contests and throw its support behind a specific candidate, the way it did in NY-23. The looming problem for the GOP, though, is that the right-wing media can't pick winners and stands poised to rip the Republican Party apart.(Did you notice how Limbaugh last week claimed "Newt" had "screwed the whole [NY-23] thing up"?) It's yet more evidence that during President Bush's pro-war tenure, far-right radio and TV talkers, along with fringe bloggers, convinced themselves they represented the mainstream -- the majority -- of the GOP. But they don't. They represent the radical CPAC wing of the GOP, and it shows on Election Day. We saw that in 2008, when bloggers and talkers opposed Sen. John McCain in the GOP primaries yet were completely unable to sway Republican voters in the process. In the immortal words of Republican strategist Mike Murphy, "These radio guys can't deliver a pizza, let alone a nomination."...." http://mediamatters.org/columns/200911100021

Great stuff! Thanks. I love this pic. I always wondered what was in Ernie's secretive past. What was the dog's name? It's driving me nuts trying to remember now. Thanks. I needed that :) God Bless America again. just saying wrote: <quoted text> Well said Taxpayer.. There are more patriots than we realize.(let's not ever forget that) The enemy wants to isolate us. One of Rathke statement was to overwhelm the system. To me it was also saying overwhelm the people. The great American's on topix have opened my eyes. I have done more research this year than I have done in my lifetime. We must never ever give up HOPE. The enemy is counting on us giving up. I will not give up to my last breath. Be encouraged and keep up the good fight. God Bless you and I appreciate your posts.

yeah....let them talk. Will Rush Limbaugh Be Indicted for Voter Fraud? ...."As the board of election in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, where Cleveland is located, launches an investigation into illegal crossover voting in the state's 2008 presidential primary, a big open question remains unanswered: Will county officials go after the ringleaders of apparently illegal electioneering where thousands of Republican voters swore -- under penalty of law -- allegiance to the Democratic Party in order to vote for Hillary Clinton? In case you missed it, Rush Limbaugh, the nation's top-rated talk radio host, was urging Republicans in Texas and Ohio to skip their party's primary on March 4 and instead cast a vote for Hillary Clinton in order to prolong the fight between her and Barack Obama. And that Tuesday, as media in both states reported, thousands of Republicans did just what Limbaugh and others had suggested -- they changed parties to vote for Clinton.".... ...."While this all makes for great talk radio and sounds like fun, there is one catch: What Limbaugh encouraged Republican voters to do in Ohio was a fifth-degree felony in that state, punishable with a $2,500 fine and six to 12 months in jail. That is because in order to change party affiliation in Ohio, voters have to fill out a form swearing allegiance to that party's principles "under penalty of election falsification." On Thursday, March 20, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reported that the "Cuyahoga County Board of Election has launched an investigation that could lead to criminal charges against voters who maliciously switched parties for the March 4 presidential primary." According to the report, "One voter scribbled the following addendum to his pledge as a new Democrat: "For one day only." "Such an admission amounts to voter fraud," the report continued, attributing that conclusion to BOE member Sandy McNair, a Democrat. The report said the four-member board -- two Democrats and two Republicans -- had yet to vote on whether it would issue subpoenas, although Ohio's secretary of state, Democrat Jennifer Brunner, is empowered to cast tie-breaking votes when the BOE is deadlocked.".... http://www.alternet.org/politics/80392/

I have been fighting off downsizing as a result from the economic downturn. The healthcare bill will assure that I do! I will be more profitable, or less exposed, by laying off people!! My revenues will be lower and so will the taxes generated from them. Why does government reward that?

Exactly. If Media Matter's real intent is to grow a reputation as fact checkers they should focus on the junk coming out of the WH. That's what matters. reeltime wrote: <quoted text> the story would seem to indicate that no oversight is necessary. the participation of the talking heads was of no consequence(on the good side), so what's to worry about? they've been of no help to the GOP in any election so far, so let them talk.
