At least offer a crossover with a sliding door option on one side. Moms will appreciate it.

why not a 3rd seat in front as before, like the caravan give us an option to have as many seats as we want, also minivans use to have more room in between rows, now with the new styles we can't stretch our legs, we wouldn't have to buy suv's that are killing our pocket w/gas and large suv's are 29k plus

I had 3 Pontiac Montanas 1998,2001,and 2004.
In 2007 I bought a Torrent. I love it, its great to look at, but take a trip in and its awlful.
NO SPACE, NO DVD,and No third row for the dog.
If G.M doesnot produce a minivan, by the time my lease is over, then I switch to a Chrysler Town and Country. I need space and practicality. Just make them look good

They will do an injustice by doing away with the mini-vans. They are very convenient for mothers with children and travelers. We have three big dogs and take out the middle seats to accommodate them(they are family, too). The one thing they can do is make the seats a little lighter to carry or somehow store them with out infringing on Chyrsler invention. We do have a 1999 Montana that has a 117,000 miles on it and alot of repair bills, but we like the style and convenients of it. I am also a retire GM worker that is planning to move back to Michigan (God's Country). Traction control is very nice to have.

Mini Vans may not be the current fashion statement in today's society. However, we have four kids and I REFUSE to pay the price and gas bill that goes with a gas guzzling Suburban type vehicle. The minivan gives us room and a place to pack our things for trips. If GM is not going to have a mini-van, I hope they have an alternative that does the same job.
