You have to calculate the value of anything before buying deciding to buy; but why don't you value a stock price before buying it, if the price of it is cheap or not? If you are not professional and don't know enough knowledge, it is very difficult to value a true price of a stock. I may recommend you a website where you may value stock prices's intrinsic(true) values. Please visit http://www.drstock.org
