This is as stupid as the woman who spilled HOT COFFEE on her lap and sued. Can anybody tell me when people are once again going to take responsibily for their own stupidity?

he gained the 65lbs because he wanted to eat. If you sample a piece of food here and
there, there is no way that you would gain just off of sampleing. He just like's to eat and will continue to gain the weight even after McDonalds; and just because your emplorer offers free meals you don't have to accept them. Hell he could have eaten yogurt for lunch and an apple. McDonalds or not. He will be fat anyway.

sad but true: we do apply these same rulings in the united states. it is sad that people cannot take responsibility for their own actions and as long as we continue to let these court cases happen, and people can profit from them, we will continue to read about stupid cases!!! look at the bright side; it gives us something to laugh about

The only merit to the case IMHO, is that he was required to sample the food as part of his job. Over the years, this sampling could cause one to gain weight.

One value meal = about 70% to 90% of a person's daily calorie requirement.

He felt "forced" to eat? Give me a break. This guy had free food availabe and he made a pig of himself. At least the courts in Brazil didn't do like US Courts and give the guy $10 million.
