This is the MOST sophisticated kind of music in the world for me! Vibrant, melodious, ever changing, dyanmic, creative! It has not been more famous simply because common Brazilians are not show-offs and have not been much interested in promoting it abroad. So, the only real way of knowing what it really sounds is to hear it played by real first-rate musicians there, and not through some second-rate players that once in a while travel abroad.

On the other hand, Brazilian jazz is also another kind of music that beats American jazz ALL the way! It is full of soul, of rhtym, of harmonic musical mixes and plenty of creativity, that American jazz has tried to mimic without success for decades!
