The soybean aphid is another example, they are all females and are born pregnant,..that is one reason they multiply so fast,..the Japanese lady bug prey on them. and are very benefitual to us soybean producers...without the lady bugs, we would have to spray the crop a lot,..

I thought cougars were the female tops or sugar mamas. So there would be no cubs.

I was thinking in the absence of males there could be no cougars, but since its an ant colony there would be no cubs or cougars....

However, your take is probably correct, logically speaking.(Oh my, that was painful for me. ;> )

maybe i was wrong about same-sex marriage. encourage gays to get married, and let them try to procreate. they'll be gone in a generation or two. just don't let them adopt...

You raise an interesting question. We know most gay people must come from heterosexually breeding parents, increasingly without any family homophobia, and we know same sex couples have and are raising str8 kids with no problem, but where do sexually disordered closet cases come from? We should move to cut off that particular spigot.
