BRASILIA: The Supreme Court has rejected a motion to modify the country's Amnesty Law so that officials accused of human-rights abuses under Brazil's military regime would have to stand trial.
This rampant protection of human rights violators by a SUPREME COURT is why Brazil is called a Banana Republic: No fairness and a LOT of corruption in the Judiciary!
