China sells crap and Brazil sells crap....now they can sell all their crap to each other...lol
The USA has stopped buying the cheap, chemically tainted crap from china. Brazil needs to wise up!
Why do they think everyone else in the world has stopped buying their cheap crap???

And there we have it.... living on a dream before you had your asses kicked out of all your former colonies. Before the EU, Portugal was the most backward of European countries and still hasn´t made much progress beyond living on handouts from the EU.

I am not aware of any area where Portugal or the Portuguese are considered superior. The colonial history of Portugal is marked by brutality and the most amazing mismanagement of resources and misuse of power.

But lets have some serious dialogue. The reason China exports so much crap to US is because that is what you want, crap. Instead of manufacturing and paying fair wages to your fellow americans you prefer to buy on price instead of quality and then wonder why the Chinese company (who uses child labour and home workers without supervision) cuts his costs to meet the low price he is offered by the AMERICAN importer.

I am not aware of any 'crap' exported by Brazil. There are many foreign companies here that manufacture for export and these companies are manufacturing to meet the standards demanded by Americans. If that standard is low then it is your problem.

Swine flu came from an American farm in Mexico producing low grade pork meat for the US market.

Should I have to remind you that the US was a colony. Are you telling me that Portugal is superior to the US? Or is it that you just dream of the days before the Portuguese were driven out of Angola in their underwear? Is your history in any of the colonies something to be proud of?

I doubt if 5% of Americans could find your country on a map.

Brazil is THE economic power in South America whether you like it or not. Yes, much of the population is living in poverty but we are ahead of US in many ways. We need better third level education and easier access but we don´t have to recruit from other countries to fill the spaces for PhD´s.

Nina,

Therefore, if Brazil has MANY more ISO-qualified companies (1st in the whole Latin America) than Portugal should we say: Portugal is the one who sells CRAP! Shut up and go to a university to try to learn anything. If you have already gone, go again because you learned nothing! Ignorant!

To compare education with the size of a country could only be relevent to show that Brazil has succeeded remarkably well to educate its population despite the size and population.

It is an utter nonsense to suggest that Brazil has poor medical care compared with even the US where a HUGE % do not have access to decent medical care at all. In Brazil, everyone has access to free basic medical care and the private health system is excellent.

Nina, you are truly ignorent.

I know that to debate with you is cruel, it is never fair to beat up the mentally deficient

lol, i find this funny too, Brazil is a great country, something a lot of people dont realize *or bother to read about* is the fact that what, right around 10 years ago brazil had a nation debt almost as large as americas, but they have almost paid it all off in the last decade, and i personally would rather have a product from brazil rather than china, and as i do more and more reading about brazil, i hear things, like, this famous brazilian plastic surgeon, or this famous doctor, such as that, the place is great as far as im concerned *at least on paper*
