Just watched Kara Ro destroy her overmatched opponent, Lakeysha Williams, despite a lengthy layoff due to injury and treatment for asthma. KRo hardly broke a sweat while stalking the shorter Williams around the ring, moving laterally and showing pinpoint accuracy with her stiff jabbing left.
Williams, who was only effective when punching on the break, head-butting, or throwing one of several low blows, was unable to do any real damage, even when a punch happened to land flush. Her mugging and thuggish posturing in the final round was consistent with her charector as she is known for blaming previous losses on hometown crowds and poor officiating. Well this one wasnt even close and the judges left little to the imagination scoring the bout heavily in Kro's favor.
Hey Williams, you lost this one fair and square...and you know it. In the ring...there are no handouts. You gotta box.
