Am I not alone in not getting excited about this dollar making event in September.
At Welter the ony real event would be Mayweather v Cotto which is made for NYC at the Garden or Yankee.
Would Floyd really be prepared to match Oscar - not in the ring but his place in history. Oscar's claim to 6 weights is based on his WBO victory over Felix Sturm, but he failed against Hopkins.
Could Mayweather suceed where Oscar failed?
Felix Sturm is still around for an apetiser, WBA this time.
BUT could the 'pound 4 pound' really go out on a limb and make history and take on Kelly Pavlik in probably the biggest fight in the sport's history - I doubt it
Welterweight Boxing
Floyd v Oscar - Are there better matches for the fans?
