Great article but the rematch with Jermaine Taylor was his first defense. He was defending his Middleweight title. Anything after that should be considered his second defense.

taylor pavlik two was not a title defense, he just fought him at a different weight. there was an option for the belts to be on the line, but taylor did not take that. So therefore pavlik has not had a title defense so you can't say his next fight will be his second title defense.
