Diaz outpoints Angulo to retain WBA lightweight title

Undefeated Juan "Baby Bull" Diaz successfully defended his WBA lightweight title for the fifth time, unanimously outpointing Fernando Angulo in a 12-round bout Saturday night.

When the one sided (for Diaz) announcers did not give Angulo one of the first several rounds you knew it was going to be of those nights you wanted to shut off the sound. Diaz plodded ahead like a club fighter. Never moving his head. Putting his hands up exposing himself to the body. The ref taking a point away was nothing but bias. To have the ref and his dad as a judge gave the challenger very little chance going in.
