face it. The top boxers in the States want nothing to do with him. Bring back Bruno the dumbo, Tyson who fights girls, and Holyfield who is 50 years old in a wheelchair...LOL LOL

Saturday I watched on espn Ali vs Shavers, 1970s. I remember as a teen seeing that and thinking, these fighters are great. Today, they look slow, small, and yes, less skilled. It was round after round Ali pawing that wouldn't break an egg. Ernie Shavers landed the hardest hits, which today, would be brushed off. I am Kiltschko biased, I admit, but when I watched his last 5 fights, he made the American HWs of the 70s look soft. It's reality.

i really dont have much time wathing these robotic big men boxing. its just a matter of time before america rules the division again. what annoys me the most is people putting evander down.
he has been my idol and i managed to shake his hand and talk to him at mertocentre englnd. what a nice man. he would have put those big men clean out 10 years ago. they wouldnt have lasted 5 rounds. david haye could easily beat wladamir but only by throwing fast combinations. he should win on points if the robot doesnt catch him. |

The Heavy Weight Division in the USA is pitiful. Old boxers are comming out of retirement,ie,Holyfield, Tyson, etc. They are getting beat by European journeymen. Foreman was a big fighter at about 235, overweight 252. I looked at some stats todat. The top 2 fighters in the World, both brothers, 6 ft 6 and 250+. They have body fat of about 5 %. One fight, Klitschko his Austin so hard he went up in the air a foot.
I have lived in Europe, and these boxkers are more popular than Tyson ever was. BTW, Klitschko would have KOed Tyson in 1 or 2 rounds as well as Holyfield, sad, but true. The issue USA Media has and can't face is: The fighters in Europe are white and they KO black top USA HWs. It is hard for us to see a black man get beat senseless by Valuev, Klitschko brothers, and 7 other top white HWs. So what do we do? Invent another Division that Butterbean and Holmes can fight and take a nap between rounds. |
i do not agree with ur positions,i am an european myself but then u need not exagerate or sensationalise issues, what americans have done and is still doing in boxing in general and heavyweight division in particular can never be matched by any european in the next twenty years.and u made mention of black guys getting beaten senselessly by their european white counterpart,i also disagree,i saw how samuel peter dazed oleg maskaev mercilessly in mexico,i also saw how klitschko was kissing the floor like a toddler in his encounter with peter despite holding for almost 100 times in 36 minutes, tony thompson humbled luan krasnisque like a baby sometimes ago,we all saw how edison miranda destroyed arthur abraham and still get robbed at d end of d day, recently mayweather showed ricky hatton what it takes to be a champion,i can go on and on,it is a fact that americans are not doing well at d moment in heavyweight category but this is not enough to be portraying them as a looser or a never do well, mention all the boxing hall of famers in the heavyweight then u will see that they are 85% Americans.how many of this ur so called european hero are selecting opponents?let arthur abraham come out and face kelly pavlik and we will see d result, let dimitrenko come out and meet tony thompson for all eyes to see, eddy chamber was beating povetkin b4 he decided to let it go for reasond best known to him,i am an european but then American athletes does not deserve the kind of opprobrium u are trying to heap on them,U.S.A will always b d first irrespective of what angle u are attacking d question from. That is my candid opinion and i stand to be corrected. |

You are correct, sir. He is scary. I read he went jogging today and has a rigid work ethic. |
