~ I will give you 3 .........(1) Ernest Mazyck: 6' 9" and around 330#. Not much power for a monster! Has only had 3 pro fights; won them but no knockouts. Here's a video clip promoting his Oct. 21 fight: http://link7.streamhoster.com/... __________2) Rick Dyer is age 31, 6' 9" tall and will weigh around 290-300#. Has won all his pro fights by K.O....(11-0/11). Fast hands for a big man! Pro record: http://www.boxrec.com/boxer_display.php... __________3) Tye Fields: is age 31, Southpaw, 6' 9_1/2", weight 265-275#, and 86" reach. 24 of his 34 K.O.s were first-round!(37-1/34). Fights on Dec. 1 in the "Superfighter" Tournament in Melbourne, Aus. Pro Record: http://www.boxrec.com/boxer_display.php...

~~ "Zeus" (Ernest Mazyck) finally has a K.O. as of Oct. 21....Knocked Gary Britt out in the 1st. He will need LOTS of fights before he's ready for a Top-40 heavyweight!

Judged:

1

Rocky Marciano would knock out all the Heavyweights of today. He was in the best shape of any fighter who ever put the leather on.

Ali would have been knocked out and the big 7ft Russian would not be able to stand up to the power of Marciano.

~~ Keith,... I'll tell you what........ Let's just wait til Nov. 12, for the results of Lyakhovich-Briggs (WBO Title fight), and Wlad Klitschko-Cal Brock (IBF Title fight)...You might feel differently, then! Rocky was just a Cruiserweight and would have to give away too much height/reach/arm-length/weight !........
~~ As for a prime Ali beating Valuev, I'd bet against it. Prime Ali was 6' 2_3/4" with an 80" reach and weighing about 220#. About the same size as Monte Barrett, who Valuev recently kayoed!

~~ No, defster - that's wrong!........ Check his pro record on Boxrec. Monte Barrett is a HELL OF A LITTLE MAN! I am convinced he would give a prime Ali one Hell of a fight!........According to Boxrec.com , when Larry Holmes got his TKO-10 win over Ali, he only weighed 211_1/2#. I'll name you some of today's heavies who I'd pick to beat a PRIME Ali:........ Wladimir Klitschko,...Alexander Dimitrenko,...Shannon Briggs,...Sam Peter,...Nicolai Valuev,...Sergei Lyakhovich....... We'll never know, so you can claim anything you want. I could claim John L. Sullivan would beat Joe Louis, Rocky Marciano & Muhammad Ali on the same night. There's no way to prove me wrong. So I'm through with this argument.

I am carefully watching the career of Zeus Mazyck and I cannot wait until he fights some worthy advisary. 5-0-0 but, when is the real challange going to come? This man needs a real fighter put in front of him so his true talent can be displayed. Is there anyone out there not afraid to fight him?

It's kind like what's gone on in the NFL, the current pathletes are undeniably bigger and stronger than the ones just 20 years ago, but (just like in the NFL--look how sloppy remedial things like tackling and blocking has gotten)how many of today's Heavyweights have the skill level of Ali, Norton, Liston etc.? Brute strenght and size have replaced technique.

I'm thinking there should be a wieght class higher than Heavyweight created--something for these really big guys in the 275+ range. The way it is now, you can't have a 159 lb middleweight fighting a 165lb supermiddleweight, yet you can have a 230lb heavyweight fighting a 300lb heavyweight. 70 lbs is a hard size advantage to overcome.

MIAMI BOUNCER:..... You make some GOOD points. YES ~ there should be heavier weight classes. The way it is, today ~ anyone over 200# is technically a heavyweight. I would like to see a Heavyweight limit of around 235#. All over that would be Superheavies.
... There are 2 SMALL Russian (one's an Uzbek), southpaws who recently won WORLD TITLES from much larger Champs! We saw these 2 Amazing Winners of World Titles:
(1) WBA Champ, Nicolai Valuev lost his title to Ruslan Chagaev by U.D.-12. Now, the 7' Valuev weighed around 319 and Chagaev weighed around 229 ~~ had to give away 90#! Chagaev is only about 6' 1_1/2" tall!
(2) WBO Champ, Shannon Briggs, lost his title to Sultan Ibragimov. The heights aren't much different: Briggs is 6' 4" while Ibragimov is about 6' 2". Hower, Briggs weighed 273#, while
little Sultan weighed 221. Sultan gave away 52#- same weight he gave away when he fought highly-ranked 6' 8" Lance Whitaker. Sultan won by T.K.O.-7.
... So there are SOME Little guys who can fight. But,... I still agree that we need a higher weight class for the Heavyweights!

Mazyck will be the next heavyweight champion of the world! No doubt about that. He's got the patience, humility, skill, and not to mention the power. Get ready people! His best skill is proving nonbelievers wrong. Shake and bake Big Huge!

... Mazyck fights tomorrow (Thursday, Sept. 27)~~ a guy with only 6 pro fights: Robert Bell. Now, Bell is about 6' 2" and around 235-245#. He hasn't fought in almost a year and LOST his last 4 fights by K.O.
... Yeah, Mazyck is undefeated, but I just can't get excited about how he has performed against VERY low-caliber opponents. "Zeus" better stay away from the other big guys: Valuev, Ustinov, Rick Dyer, Tye Fields, etc.
... Here's his pro record:

... Thursday night was a BAD night for the BIG BOYS!
... Zeus (Ernest Mazyck) was kayoed by Ryan Thompson in the 4th. Thompson's pro record was only (3-1/3).
... Manuel Quezada kayoed big Rick Dyer in the 2nd.

Seems not, now that's he's been destroyed by a much smaller fighter. A prime George Foreman would've knocked out Marciano like he did Frazier.

... Well, I had hopes for Dyer. The glimmer of hope is that he has faced two really good opponents back-to-back ~ kayoed by both!...As far as "Zeus" is concerned ~~ he had the height & arm-length. Punching power ... NO!
