dimitrenko won timo hoffman but he must watch his back, when he faces a younger and active fighter the music may play out on a discordant note.anyway, i congratulate him,if he can meet tony thompson it would be a big step for him.

* Saturday ~ Bordelandhalle ~ Magdeburg, Germany!
... I was impressed with Vladimir Virchis' performance against Robert Hawkins! Decked him in rounds 3, 4, and 5! Did you know that in Dec. of 2005, Sam Peter fought Hawkins, but was only able to get a U.D. win. ... Long ago, Timo Hoffman went the distance against Vitaly K. Now, he has been stopped for the first time as a pro! My hat is off to Dimitrenko. ... I wonder if Wlad K. would be willing to fight either of these top contenders? At the mention of their names, would Wladimir run away? Perhaps it could be held at the ColorLine in Hamburg? ... Put Corrie Sanders on the same program! Have Corrie Sanders fight some OLD guy: Andy Golota, Henry Akinwande, Riddick Bowe, or Mike Moorer. Other local heavyweights could fight! I want to see more of huge Alexander Ustinov! Also Steffen Kretschmann ~~ match him against Egon or Dieter Roth. Perhaps it would be a joint-promotion: Don King & Universum?...YES, I am being IDEALISTIC, but this is a fight I would LOVE to see! |

David "hayemaker" Haye.Keep it up bro.You are a very solid fighter and you hit extremely hard also. With your current form,I envisage you will go very far in boxing.Enzo Maccarinelli won't forget so quickly what you did to him in the ring.Ride on bro.

** Mr. Iheme ~~ I agree, he's Boxing-Hall-of-Fame material!..and what a BODY on that kid!..but I hope he will stay at 200# and DOMINATE, rather than gaining 20# and fighting Heavyweights!..Your thoughts?
I think David Haye believes he has won all there is to win in the cruiserweight category being the WBA,WBC and WBO undisputed world champion.Looks like there would be no guy out there to match his punching power. Not really a bad idea if he decides to step up to the heavyweight division. And I think he is aware it takes real guts to survive up there.I think he is determined and if he maintains his current form and tempo then it will be exciting watching him in that division. But until he is up there,we keep our fingers crossed. |

hey iheme, david haye is fighting monte barrett in november, what is ur opinion of the fight. |
Uche,I really doubt it if Monte Barrett will be able to sustain the fireworks of David Deron Haye in November. This is not to say I am writing off Monte but if David still maintains his strong punching power and boxing skills,I do not see Monte avoiding a Defeat.More especially,David has age on his side and seems to be rearing to fight at the Heavyweight.
Boy that kid is something else in boxing. He packs dynamite in his gloves.Lets wait and see. |

The reed we are blowing is now crushed.Precisely a year ago after watching Samuel Peter wobble to a win against McCline in NY,I had made my analysis on this forum of what I saw of Sam Peter in that fight and I knew it was only a matter of time for me to be proved right.McCline had the opportunity to finish off Peter in that fight but instead he let it slip. That night with what I saw,I feared for Peter's career as a boxing champ.Prior to the Vitali vs Peter fight in Berlin on 11Oct,2008 during a phone conference call from Vitali & his team from Austria & Peter's team,Vitali had said Sam was lucky to escape a McCline defeat in October,2007.My comments are still posted here to be read. But unfortunately,I made foes on this forum.I made foes with people who chose to analyze boxing from their bedroom, cyber cafes or the basement of their homes.I made foes with people who chose to be sentimental because they were Nigerians, same as Sam Peter.I am a Nigerian also but I only spoke the truth of what I saw in Sam Peter.A true sportsman does not have to be sentimental.
Peter's fight against Vitali in Berlin on 11Oct,2008 has proved me right on what I wrote in this forum a year ago.I knew Peter would not survive against a technical, strong and boxer with a class which Vitali is.I knew it was only time for that to happen. I am not upset with Peter.I saw the defeat coming. But I am upset he lost a belt he only won 7 months ago.I am upset he lost against a boxer who has not had any competitive fight in almost 4 years and do we call him(Sam)a true world champion?I said I wasn't going to applaud Peter for winning Maskaev.Maskaev was already tired, aging, finished and even did good to last 6 rounds against Peter.A boxer like David Haye would have finished off Peter in the early rounds on 11Oct,2008. Do I have anything against Sam Peter? The answer is NO.I have said and I am still repeating myself that for Peter to be a true heavyweight king,he has to work on his technique, fighting skill and stamina.I say stamina because Sam believes on his strenght always to give him an early KO against an opponent. But KOs are hard to come by especially against a technical, skillful, strong boxer with a class just as we saw in Vitali on 11Oct,2008 in Berlin.Sam does not have the Stamina to carry on with long bouts.Does he have the strenght?Yes he does. But boxing is not all about strenght.Technique and skill count a lot in boxing. Can Sam come back?Yes he can.But there is a lot of home work to be done on his stamina, technique and skill. That aspect is left for his team to work on. Only strong willed and determined fighters come back to reclaim their lost belts. It has never been easy. - Data Boxing Controls showed: Klitschko 78, Peter 53. Klitschko had a 60% to 40% domination of Events Per Round (Attempts + Controls), which were 137, a very busy performance for heavyweights. - Open scoring after 4th round: all judges favoured Klitschko by scores of 40-36. - Peter did not come out for round 9 & chose to RTD after round 8 showed he was clearly dominated by Vitali in the fight. I wish to congratulate Vitali on his exceptional victory and come back bid.Not too many boxers can come out after a long lay off to win a title. It only takes guts. For Sam Peter, its not over yet buddy but he really has to work hard.It will require real hard training and hard work to get to a true world champ.Technique & skill should be combined with strenght.I wish both boxers luck in their career. |

As I predicted,I knew Monte Barrett would not withstand the fireworks David Haye packs in his gloves.I must commend Monte also for putting up a spirited fight. A true heavyweight champion is gradually unfolding in David Haye. Honestly with his current tempo, any of the Klitschko brothers will sweat through their pants to beat David Haye. I do not even see that happening if Haye still maintains his current fighting form. A ripe maize can be told by merely looking at it.When you see a real heavyweight material, you will know. David Haye is made of great stuff. He is just a class to watch.Strong, fast, skilled and power punches packed in those gloves of his. I really duff my hat for him. Ride on Bro. |

Haye is good enough 2 beat vlad but i think he wld struggle with vitali.
No doubt Dr.Iron fist is a good & technical boxer but with Hayes current form, tecnique and punching power,I do not see him struggling against Vitali. However, that would be an interesting bout to watch. |
Scott,Vitali was at the ring side when Haye fought Monte and had this to say,"He has everything he needs. He has power, speed and good reflexes. Two more fights and he will be ready to challenge for a world title,".But I think Haye is ready for a shot at the world title.However,Dr.Iron Fist would not be an easy fight for Haye seeing that the only two fights Vitali lost were (1).cuts against Lennox Lewis in 2003 and after injuring his shoulder against Chris Byrd in 2000.I do not really see them as an out right defeats seeing that both fights were stopped due to injury on Vitali. Lets wait and see what happens. We keep our fingers crossed. However Vitali vs Haye would be a thriller. |
Yes i agree with you, vitali hasnt bn properly beaten. However, vladimir has a suspect chin and to me, would b an easier fight for haye first and then if he wins, vitali next. Lets just hope vlad gets past rahman first.
Yes,I agree Vladimir will be much more easier to beat as opposed to Vitali who is a more rugged & steady fighter. I agree Haye should go for Vladimir first then Vitali. That will give him more confidence in fighting Vitali if he succeeds in defeating Vladimir. But you never know. However,Haye is a class of his own. |
Lets just hope haye doesnt lose motivation if he beats both of them by this time next year.
Yep.I agree with you. |

Manny "Pac-man" Pacquiao is a beast in the ring. That guy has some brutal fireworks and puching power in this gloves. He reduced Britain's Ricky Hatton to a mere training tool.I am always delighted to see "Pac-man" fight.
Britain's David "Haye maker" Haye & Manny "Pac-man" Pacquiao are boxers in a class of their own. They make the sport a delight to watch. Thats what I'm talking about in boxing. You know real boxers when you see them. |

Lara and Korobov looked like two great up and coming welterweights on the Pacman-Hitman undercard.

David Haye is world champion as he slays Russian giant Nikolai Valuev in Nuremburg,Germany. My predictions about Haye is coming to pass that he is a boxer with a class and will take the heavyweight by storm.Klitschko brothers,Vitali and Wladimir beware. You guys won't be holding those belts long enough.I cannot easily forget my foes on this forum who rallied around Samuel Peter even when I long predicted Sam had nothing to offer in heavyweight boxing for now until he does some real homework.I wonder where they (my foes) are now: Issong Bassey,Bayer,Duva,Dave & my mortal enemy Kirill. No one has heard from them since Samuel Peter flopped against Vitali Klitschko and Eddie Chambers.
Yet,my foes on this forum are people who claim they know boxing by being sentimental.Even though they had eyes, they could not see to distinguish who a seasoned boxer really is. Ride on David Haye. |
