Mesi was a joke as a fighter and in any sane world would never be elected to any office.

I heard on the news today that Baby Joe would make "creating jobs" his number one priority. My question is this; has this guy ever had a job? Why is it that people with 'name recognition' feel as if they can be elected into public office? I would prefer to see candidates who have ...let me see...perhaps a college degree, some leadership experience, perhaps a phd; i don't want to get greedy, but maybe even a doctrine. The sad news is that this guy will probably get a decent share of votes, and why ...because we know his name? I could see if he was running for like a boxing/gaming committee or something, but I think it is ridiculus to think that this guy could at some point be making political decisions on my behalf. My advice to Baby Joe ...get a job like the rest of us so that you truly know what our needs are.

What education level has he reached? What government courses has he taken? I heard that shots of Crown Royal is his best public accomplishment. Rob Ray would make an even better contender and at least he has a greater TV exposure. We don't need this type of representation in Albany. A puppet he would be and just how stupid are the voters to even consider his running for any office. A car salesmen maybe a bouncer at a strip club more likely.

Wow, a guy who isn't allowed to box anymore because he took too many blows to the head, now people are going to be dumb enough to vote for him as their elected representative?

Illegal Immigration to Canada....
From the Manitoba Herald, Canada (a very underground paper):

The flood of American liberals sneaking across the border into Canada has intensified in the past week, sparking calls for increased patrols to stop the illegal immigration.

The actions of President Bush are prompting the exodus among left-leaning citizens who fear they'll soon be required to hunt, pray, and agree with Bill O'Reilly.

Canadian border farmers say it's not uncommon to see dozens of sociology professors, animal- rights activists and Unitarians crossing their fields at night.

'I went out to milk the cows the other day, and there was a Hollywood producer huddled in the barn,' said Manitoba farmer Red Greenfield, whose acreage borders North Dakota. The producer was cold, exhausted and hungry.'He asked me if I could spare a latte and some free-range chicken. When I said I didn't have any, he left. Didn't even get a chance to show him my screenplay, eh?'

In an effort to stop the illegal aliens, Greenfield erected higher fences, but the liberals scaled them.
So he tried installing speakers that blare Rush Limbaugh across the fields.'Not real effective,' he said.'The liberals still got through, and Rush annoyed the cows so much they wouldn't give milk.'

Officials are particularly concerned about smugglers who meet liberals near the Canadian border, pack them into Volvo station wagons, drive them across the border and leave them to fend for themselves.

'A lot of these people are not prepared for rugged conditions,' an Ontario border patrolman said.'I found one carload without a drop of drinking water.'They did have a nice little NapaValley cabernet, though.'

When liberals are caught, they're sent back across the border, often wailing loudly that they fear retribution from conservatives. Rumors have been circulating about the Bush administration establishing re-education camps in which liberals will be forced to drink domestic beer
and watch NASCAR races.

In recent days, liberals have turned to sometimes-ingenious ways of crossing the border. Some have taken to posing as senior citizens on bus trips to buy cheap Canadian prescription drugs. After catching a half-dozen young vegans disguised in powdered wigs, Canadian immigration authorities began stopping buses and quizzing the supposed senior-citizen passengers on Perry Como and Rosemary Clooney hits to prove they were alive in the '50s.

'If they can't identify the accordion player on The Lawrence Welk Show, we get suspicious about their age,' an official said.

Canadian citizens have complained that the illegal immigrants are creating an organic-broccoli shortage and renting all the good Susan Sarandon movies.

'I feel sorry for American liberals, but the Canadian economy just can't support them,' an Ottawa resident said.'How many art-history majors does one country need?

I truly hope that we Western New Yorkers do not fall into the trap of electing a man who beat others up for a living. What political experience does Mesi have? What educational background does he have? Other than a known name what will he bring? I can see the cheesy political ads now, "Mesi will fight for you!" Please, please don't vote for name recognition Western New Yorkers!!! Please vote for a responsible candidate who won't be a joke in Albany!!

The Mesi gang has overblown every fight that Joe has had. They keep saying that Joe is undefeated, well yea he is, if you don't count the stiffs he fought, he's about 4-0. The spin that was put on an at best, average fighter's career, was genius. If you think about that spin being put to work in politics it can be scary. If you listen to Joe talk, and then watch tape from 5 years ago you can see what brain bleed does for you. I would hope that his father would step in and protect his son, but he has already proven that he's riding that gravy train to the end. If he would allow his son to fight, he would allow anything for his own good. GREAT SKILLS AS A PARENT!!!!Sometimes people just need to go on with thier lives. It's time to go away Joe.

I think what alot of people are saying on this blog is that Mesi as ignorant and blockheaded as he is...is no better than the do-nothings we have in Albany right now. So electing a young buck from Tonawanda..(god bless him)...to Albany..his heart is in the right place to maybe fight for some of those bucks to be diverted to WNY. Outside of Maziarz who just championed a bill passed to remove the bridges from the Thruway authority....who has done anything else?? Don't DARE wake up Dale Volker on his afternoon nap ...he may steer more cheap power downstate!!!!!

Joe is a great guy. I would invite him for dinner any day. BUT he has no experience in politics. People start out at the local level - town council, city council - not at a big seat like this. Learn the system then maybe I will vote for you.

Baby Joe would certainly be the best looking politician to grace the halls in Albany. How much worse could he possibly be than we already have?
