William Trimble ,Selectman Dartmouth , Massachusetts
Did the residents of Dartmouth Massachusetts elect a former convicted felon to the position of Selectman ?
Court records show this individual with a very serious charge against him in 2000 ?
This selectman just sat on a board which made a decision to take property rights from residents around a commercial wind turbine site.
The media has responsibility to tell the general public about these people and their backgrounds !
This individual is a public figure , we need answers to these questions !
Was there a plea bargain resulting in probation ? Is he a convicted felon ?
Here is the news article :

Bull sh1t, they do. The media are companies that make money by getting you to watch or listen to what they have to say. If you depend on media to keep you informed of what you need to know, you are a fool. They report what they want to report (mostly what they think you'll watch) and they'd like nothing better than for you to believe that they (individually) are a one stop shop for your information. Then they get to own what you know and what you think.
CSPAN has responsibilities. All other media have one responsibility only and that's to comply with FCC regulations regarding profanity, vulgarity and such (avoiding wardrobe malfunctions).

Wind turbine permit appeal lawsuit
Some residents have filed a lawsuit appealing the special permit granted for two wind turbines in town. I have scanned the suit and uploaded it here. The suit seeks to have the grant of a special permit annulled. The crux of the suit seems to be that the Select Board cannot issue a permit in this case because they are the executive board of the town as well as the special permit granting authority. The arguments seem to be pretty scattershot to me, at one point claiming the Select Board ceded their authority to the Alternative Energy Committee ...
... and in another that the Select Board exceeded their authority by issuing the permit. Other claims include harm to the abutters, lack of proper notification, and that the bylaw set up a flawed process for approval.
You can read the suit yourself at this link

When wind power first arrived in Massachusetts, many residents mistakenly believed they would be able to buy inexpensive power if their town hosted a project. Of course, this is not true.
Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley has filed suit against Mark Howland, of East Freetown, and his business, WindTechCo, for making false and misleading representations in promoting the sale of wind turbines, failing to install turbines for which consumers paid, and installing unsafe wind power systems.
The complaint was filed in Fall River Superior Court before Judge Richard Moses. Judge Moses granted a temporary restraining order to stop Howland from soliciting sales of wind turbines and placed a freeze on Howland's bank accounts.

Read the special permit posted at the town website, the shadow flicker and acoustical analysis for the 100m case are there as well under the Alternative Energy Committee.
This is my personal blog, had no connection to the town, people can comment here if they choose. I don't seek out anyone to comment.
Thanks William Trimble - Selectman -Dartmouth

Commercial wind turbines make noise and have shadow flicker - Not the extent the opponents say _
Dartmouth wind advocate Dr. Ron DiPippo, an engineer and chairman of the Dartmouth Alternative Energy Committee, says shadow flicker can be disconcerting and is opponents’ most valid concern. He also responds to an opinion piece in The Standard-Times by Canadian engineer William K.G. Palmer, who warned that even a small piece of falling turbine blade would hit the ground with the force of a Ford Crown Victoria.
This is a sound track - Dr. Ron DiPippo the shadow flicker is a minor and I mean minor problem !

Rep. Bill Delahunt (D, MA): why did you put Amy Bishop back on the street?
Polio was not forthcoming about why then-DA Delahunt decided not to press charges, or why the documents in the case are apparently not available. Given the circumstances, perhaps the Congressman from MA-10 would like to fill in the blanks, as it were? Assuming that he’s done deciding whether he’s going to go through the process, of course.
