I wonder if there is a way to know how many criminals are on the streets? Sure, we know how many are sent to jail, how many are in jail, and how many are released from jail every year. But are there any statistics on how many unarrested, un-prosecuted and unjailed criminals are on the streets?

That's the figure that's missing.

Criminals use guns as tools. Take away gun, as seen in thge UK and Australia, and criminals just substitute other weapons.

Focus on the criminal - the man or woman who is robbing, stealing, assualting - not the tools they use in doing wrong.

Taking away guns will not take away criminals and crime.

Such as? How many deaths are related to Crime in the UK and Aussie? If the "criminals just substitute other weapons" what are they and does this statement mean that the Crime/Death rate are the same in UK vs. America?
