While the Patrick administration's goals for the introduction of wind generating projects are admirable, the reality on the ground - perhaps in the air would be a better phrase - is discouraging.

The state should never have a law that benefits only a single industry. Local input and control should not be given away.
The Berkshire wind project is stopped because Berkshire Wind does not have permission to tie into the grid. they are planning a high voltage line down the Main St. in Lanesborough. They spent $36 million of ratepayers money and forgot to get an extension cord to plug it in. Brilliant!
