They all claim to want to cater to families but the first chance they get it's all about the alcohol license. At least the drunks will have a warm place to do their puking.
So having a glass of wine or a beer with dinner means you're an alcoholic and you'll puke? You sound like loads of fun. Cheap date if a drink with your meal leads you to be wasted.

This town is amazing. Can't get a liquor license? Open a specialty restaurant and you're all set. "I'm opening a Tappas bar", or, "I want to open a nice safe pastry bar. But I need vodka or I'll lose customers." Next month I'll be opening a place where we shall kill and skin live animals, and then marinate and grill them. But, I need a full scale sports bar or it will never work.

You take away any merits of this place when you start asking for a full liquor license and then follow it up with a statement that you don't want alcohol to be your business.
I'd rather take the family out to a non-alcohol bakery type establishment for dessert so you won't be seeing us there. That's the problem with all these "down-town" places. They all claim to want to cater to families but the first chance they get it's all about the alcohol license. At least the drunks will have a warm place to do their puking.
Get a life!!!! A place can serve alcohol and still keep the drunks at bay...have you ever been to an upscale establishment? It is a far cry from many bar scenes...though if by a "family" place you mean places that parents allow their children to climb all over the furniture and scream through an entire dinner, then I am glad you will continue to head to Friendlys for dessert.

Good luck, Stephanie! The place sure looks more upscale than OUR first try at a restaurant on Mimi's side porch or in the barn out back! What did we charge the Burke boys for devil dogs and ring dings? So happy that you are doing something you always dreamed of doing! I'll be in for something sinfully chocolate next time I'm in town! Best wishes!

It's nice to have something like this in Leominster, although it's far from being a new/creative idea. It's Finale-Boston relocated to Leominster......http://www.fin aledesserts.com/.

If MAZZ frequents the place she'll need to keep plenty of barf-bags on hand.

I can not believe the negative comments. LaTazza was very nice and classy. The hours were a bit erractic, but otherwise I never noticed any drunks or sketchy people there. She ran a nice business and she served alcohol. Good Luck.

Wicked great idea! The rebirth of downtown Leominster is underway, with an art gallery, upscale shops and resturants and more! Downtown Leominster will be the envy of Boston's Newbury Street and Wellesley!

Once again proof that the Mayor knows how to run a city. More good things can only happen to Leominster!

I hope she has a sign that we can read from the street that lists her hours of operation. I could never figure out when LaTazza was open! Good luck Stephanie!
