I think it's really impressive that Elvis, dead for 32 years is a projected #9 on a list of top earning living and dead celebs.

Not really. MJ didn't just get a little boost. HE is miles ahead of Elvis. He is earning twice if not triple the amount Elvis is making right now.

In case you forgotten, MJ has a vault of music that is unreleased and in the years to come(similar to Elvis) they will be released.

And I believe his estate still will own half of the Beatles catalog.

And that is worth $1 billion. And MJ's half is worth $500 million.

And that brings in between $73-$300 million a year for MJ alone(financial accountant at the trial).

So with him not here to spend any money. Just on that catalog alone MJ will be earning more money than Elvis every year.

And as long as The Beatles and even Elvis and all the other artists on that list keep selling. MJ's stock goes up.

MJ's esstate is raising like crazy due to his record sales.

There is being money generated from his sales and merchandise as well.

But if he didn't have that catalog of music MAYBE he would be down to Elvis' lower levels of money making.

Jacko just croaked so he will be making some money for a little while. But keep in mind that he has a very small limited amount of material both released and unreleased to keep the cash cow flowing for 30 years or beyond the way Elvis has had. Plus he doesn't have Graceland or a marketing team like EPE/CKX to keep him alive.

Jacko has about only 100 songs in his catalog compared to 800 something of studio masters in Elvis', not counting the 200 or so unreleased outtakes and the countless amounts of concerts recorded. Within the next 5 years Jacko will be more in the category of Lennon than Elvis. In other words, just remembered for his music. Count on that.

He has and entire vault of unreleased music.

He has been in the studio for the last several years working on music.

And even Sony said there is a lot of unreleased music that will be released in the future years to come.

MJ only had 100-somthin' RELEASED music. Who knows how much unreleased.

And the Jacksons are smart. They will think of something to keep MJ's memory alive and well.

I mean they really don't need a grace land since MJ's estate has already been making hundreds of millions.

Plus that Sony/ATV catalog will make sure the kids will never go broke.
