Although I really didn't know Joe, he seemed very charismatic, and someone who really cared about others. There is nothing that anyone in this world can say to make things right, but hopefully some of us kids will learn that one quick decision can alter lives forever. I know what it's like to love somebody you love, my heart goes out to the friends and family of such a great kid. Rest In Peace*<p>

R.I.P I simply want to say that we can try as parents ALL we want. The truth is we can not CONTROL our teens and not even always know the influences in their lives. When our oldest daughter turned 14 we put in a house alarm to KEEP her IN the house. WE had meetings with other families involved and the police chief came to our home for these meetings. TRYING to involk fear and anything else that might protect all of our children. Guess what, they found ways around ALL of our efforts. It is NOT always the fault of any parent. It IS this world we live in. The influences it, and all the schools have added by no longer being allowed to teach MORALS but can help our daughters secretly get abortions WITHOUT parents knowledge. Give them birth control and teach them how to have sex etc. But do not talk about God or Jesus or what might be right. Let them talk about hate and death and killing,don't let them talk about GOD or JESUS, or eevem pray--- And them somehow expect them to just KNOW something about respect for themselves and others. My heart goes out to this family and ALL their loved ones. I know that family extends beyond the "bloodline" I praise GOD for ALL of the tender loving posts and hope that all of you involved will remember only those caring words. My prayers go out to ALL of YOU!!!!

Jo Jo you were not my best friend but we knew each other really well, we both play hockey, our numbers are both 10 and we have the some kind of nickname yours Joe Joe and mine is Jay Jay! I miss you alot bro you were the person I looked up to and there is not a day that goes by that I do not think of you, Your bro Pat is having a rough time with the whole thing, he sure talks about you a lot and loves to tell me stories about you, and I want you to know that I am looking out for him. He is doing great in Ice hockey, he plays like you, looks like you and even acts like you! I will always remember you and the kind of person you really were, not the kind of person people say you were!!

Everyone is suffering because of joe's death i nkow that everday his litt,le brother is hurting inside(his little brother is my friend)How dare any of you say that it was his parents fault or how he shouldn't have been out.Joe's life was lost!And people are blaming other things for it.His girlfriend and him were in a fight when he died.Joe before he left to go get the book left his necklace under her pillow.just so she could sleep with it and forgive him that night.she found that necklace right after she found out he had died.Everyone will lovee and miss joe.I kno i do already.Joe ciancio is one of the most amazin people you could have ever met.and i hope everyone here knows that.
