This is Paula Commerford--It was I who exposed the promo involving JK Rowling---I was very much involved with the lawsuit that now has been dismissed. It was to be a class a suit . there were no other publishing companies involved !!!!!!! There are many other promo frauds that I have exposed in the last year with Publish America . That is why they cancelled all of my contracts.I have now been contacted by another law firm-----Seegar and Weiss. I also did live radio broadcasts with X-zone in Canada and KKRP in OLK. Which resulted in a C&D order which was not legally sent . There is much more that consumers out there do not know, the business practices used by this publisher are down right dirty.I have even been sent porn e-mails from PA's attorneys email address. All the complaints out there are real and true! I have all the proven info on file.It is available to anyone who wants it

Paula is right, I have got about 500 scam e-mails from PublishAmerica and some of them were very rude. When I started sending them back to PublishAmerica they said they would call the Police on me, LIKE I was really shaking in my boots. Maybe I should send all those e-mails to that Fed.judge or to the Maryland AG and see how they like it.

This is Publish America's response to lawsuit dismissal.
"We fought the big law firm from Seattle, who has this big neighbor, because we believe in our authors, in our cause, and in ourselves.
And we won.
We won hands down. The case did not even survive the court's first glance at it. On September 4 the court dismissed it and sent the lawyers back to Seattle, tail between their legs, telling them to come back with a better case by this past Sunday, September 30, or the dismissal would be final.
Seattle gave up. They admitted defeat and didn't come back. Small-town PublishAmerica, the regular-folks publisher with all these tens of thousands of Main Street authors, beat the snot out of the big guys. Case dismissed. No class action lawsuit. David slayed Goliath"
To libel, insult or even taunt a large lawfirm is asking for trouble. PA did not win, the court dismissed the complaint without predudice. That is all that happened. The plaintiffs didn't file a cross-complaint as the judge suggested but the plaintiffs can file a new complaint anytime they want to.
Meiners' butt is waving in the wind...lol

I guess if the State of maryland is going to protect PublishAmerica then we will have to take it to the Maryland VOTERS. They need some NEW people in office if they want to get rid of CROOKS in the state and it will not be the first time that the voters did something good!!
