Reading is great, but sitting in the house all summer reading probably isnt a great idea. You need to exercise your body and soul as well as your mind. Mix it up and do both. It will make you a better person both physically and mentally.

So,'exercise', you honestly believe some of these kids are "sitting in the house all summer reading". Sitting in the house on facebook, myspace, xbox, etc. perhaps. And we all thank you for the tip to make us better people. Sheese.
That a kid wants to read at all, any time, is miraculous. I'd bet most of them are also going to camp or on some sort of team. Remember, gone are the days when you'd wave bye to mom and ride bikes/play baseball until the street lights come on. Yours is a most amusing post.
