I fear the Bush cult more than Osama bin Ladan. Osama can't change the essence of the USA... the Bush cult is sure trying and could possible do it. And Bush is well on his way of driving us into bankruptcy, getting the world to hate us, cut citizen rights while adding to the Whitehouse powers...
Another good post, you were spot on this Dubya CONvict game he was playing for his allegiance to Bin Laden Oil Construction..Two thumbs up for "Coolmind"

The Dems were still in election shock after Kerry lost, but they should have impeach the whole White House cabinet in 2006

NOBODY is going to impeach the first black president! Democrats are hoping he doesn't hurt the brand so much it knocks them of the WH in '16 and Congress for more the a couple of election cycles also, Republicans are hoping they don't get blamed for sh*t (they didn't do) but have the ability to correct when he leaves office!
Democrats nor Republicans don't have the b*lls to hold his feet to the fire even when he is f*cking up PERIOD! Congress is AFRAID to impeach him and Obama knows it! He is playing on that fear!

Gerrymandering is the real issue for '14 midterms. The way things are set up it is almost certain that Republicans will continue to have an unfair advantage because they rewrote the districts to exclude democratic heavy regions in their favor. Yes, this should be illegal but it is yet another crazy way the Americans do their elections. Inevitably in the future this disenfranchising trick will not work for republicans and democrats odds in controlling both chambers will improve. Until such time the only chance Democrats have for higher office is the Presidency (Hilary will win in 2016 regrettably since she is to-the-right of Obama which is scary since Obama is already too far to the right on most issues when you look objectively).

You need to check out the history of Gerrymandering. Who stared it, how long it has been going on and what party started it.

Yes, i am fully aware of the history of Gerrymandering. What I am talking about here is the deplorable exploitation of it by one party. Better alternatives exist but have no chance of seeing the light of day -- i encourage you to read up on that. The current model is a cancer that has metastasized for far too long and as such is damaging the electoral process for real Americans who actually care about a fare democracy.

<quoted text>Coolmind, love your posts. I love the Dems, really, however, by the time the Dems decide to even think about impeachment, Bush will be out of office. This is truly the sad reality of the Dem party. I love 'em, but they've got to learn to play harball. They've got to learn to do to the Reps, what they will do to them at no thought at all.

Republicans are NOT CONSERVATIVES!

Republicans are pure Capitalists who exclusively serve the rich-and-connected towards more redistributed profit at the expense of everybody else.

Left to their own legislative majority, they destroy the environment, the economy, the health and well-being of almost all citizens, they produce the most national debt and they destroy the most jobs, they'll eliminate minimum wages and put their own grandmothers in the poorhouse to rape and pillage anybody gullible enough to let them do it.

Even the elected tea party legislators have been feeding hard out of the public trough.

Reagan personally signed the biggest tax increase known to the US (still holds the record) Reagan also still holds the record for the biggest percent national debt increase.

GWB took Clinton's budget surplus system and gutted it. Within 8 years GWB had increased spending so much that his final budget deficit was as big as Clinton's final budget. Instead of paying down the debt, GWB doubled the national debt.

Before Obama took over the budget (and the worst economy ever handed to a president in our lifetime), the previous three republicans personally signed into existence over 92% of the then national debt.

Republicans are Capitalists who love to legislate their corporate welfare and religious dogma... republicans are not conservatives.

Neoclowns are right about the cowardly moderate Bushocrats-they had more than enough information to impeach Cheyney,W,Rumsfool,Rice and Powell..and other Democrats for annihilating all those innocent Iraqi civilians for something that was conjured, falsified, and against the UN Security's admonition..

Reagan increased the national debt 190%..Carter handed Reagan a .9 trillion debt..and Raygun spent like a kid in a candy store..you call that smaller gov't?
