Jacob's 12 sons make up the tribes of Israel. Shortly after those tribes made it to the promised land, they split into two houses, The House of Judah and The House of Israel.
If you read the New Testament, you will find that Jesus' legal father, Joseph, was from the tribe of Judah, the king line, and Jesus' mother, Mary, was from the tribe of Levi, the priest line. Therefore, it is no accident that He is the King of Kings and the High Priest, in relation to the Old Testament, to fulfill the Law given to Moses by God.
So, Jesus was Hebrew. Did He look like the Jews of today, basically white, or was He darker in skin tone, due to the climate? I have no idea. I think it's more important to learn about His family tree, than worry about what color He is.

By the way, Moses was married to an Ethiopian. His sister, Miriam, had a problem with that, and God gave her the smack-down in the form of leprosy.

You sound sort of crazy. Denominations weren't even around back then. What Bible do you read? It describes Him to have feet of bronze. He had skin like Arabs. Supposedly people are finding proof He may have been Black. Jesus was not White. He had hair like sheep's wool, not a crew cut. You're very confused.

The discription of Jesus says he was dark as burnt copper and had hair as sheeps wool. Now i am not saying he is black, but how many white or Jews do you know that fit that discription.

Well unless Jesus had a couple of visits to the local tanning booth, he was discribed as having darker skin and wool like hair. Again not saying he was black, but he was apparentlly not white.

joseph was not jesus,s father,legal or otherwise. mary his mother was an israelite of the tribe of levi. so jesus was not a jew,but instead an israelie. joseph may well have tried to raise him as a jew, according to jewish tradition.but jesus refused and delivered his own perception and went about teaching and raising up some one to teach for him. his teaching as you well know had nothing to do with judism,but instead established a new line of thought pertaining to religion.

Of course semites (arabs and jews) are not white. And since jesus was born in the middle east 2000 years ago before europeans mixed in their blood he was black as tobys' @$$. Hair of wool, skin of bronze, don't sound like no white boy to me.

I have actually never read the bible so I defer to you on that quote. But anyone born in the middle east 2000 years ago was far from being white. The history channel had a documentary on what jesus probably looked like. They discovered a skull from the time and place of jesus and they did the thing with the clay where they fleshed it out. The facial features were not that of a whte man. And I smoke cohibas double coronas.
