Agreed DO NOT BUY FROM COPART! They are a complete rip off selling vehicles with hidden damage such as trying to silicon and spray paint over frame damage and block damage. Then hide under the term you bought as is where is. They even have lawyers to defend them on this fraud. Check with the BBB and they will confirm many complaints about this company in false advertiseing and product issues with this company.

Hi.. i bought a scarp title car chrysler 2012 and i spent about 8000 $ to make it up ... a great job had done on this car ... and now i came to the stage of selling the car ... when people put the vin no. On google they got the bad images of the car and that prevent the buyer to buy the car although the price is much lower than it worth ... even thought the car is in perfect conditions imagine just because the pictures of the car ... i dont advice car traders to buy from copart and fix the car to resale it cause copart will keep your car pictures up and even you work hardly to make the car up in great condition.

This is a real bad company and does not care about anything --BUT-- money and no respect to hear the truth..I bought a 2013 Ford f150 in the Newbugh N Y site..i paid over $20,000.00 and when I got the truck home to my place of business where I have been repairing cars and trucks for 40yrs. somewhere when this truck went from Ind. to NY someone drilled the gas tank, swap the Hid headlights which can't plug in,cut and tucked the roof air bags back in the headliner and not a mark or a tear in them , and never took a picture showing that the leather seats were blown. The owner worked at a body shop where the truck was towed and estmated and was told to weld the rear srping to make it sit level, the truck was sent from the body shop to Copart, Now it was all wasked, cleaned, and welded, and the pictures really don't show the real damage to the inside and was lied about...Now I paid alot of money for this truck and reley on the pictures and not re-worked to bring more money..I know of 3 more storys worst than this..Someone should really stay away from some of the yards, they ship cars from yard to yard and someone somewhere is doing alot of things that miss rep. these cars and trucks...they say...we have no idea thats things are being done ..I called once and its a joke to them...but they sponcer Drag racing with lots of money to put ther name on race dragsters..but when I ask for help its a joke...BEWARE...BE CAREFUL VERY

I bit on a car last week they wrote run and drive but tell you what that car was garbage DONT DO BUSINES WITH WWW.COPART.COM because there are not good cars recommended there cars are good for junk yard if you buy a car that says drive and start that means that car would need engine ,transmission or a lot of work plus a trailer to take home because you drive 2 mls your car will be broke warranty because that is what happen to me and there fees are super stupid gate fee, internet fee ,and buyers fee , for 700 you spend you will pay over $ 200 on fees for a car that wil need a lot of work before you drive it you pay for junk over $1000 and then youll be prepared to spend an other amount before you drive do the math before biting

I don't get why people expect to drive a car away from Copart. Copart gets cars primarily from Insurance companies. These are "total loss" vehicles that have been wrecked and are not worth repairing, according to the insurance company. You can be certain repairs will be needed.
If you pay attention to the name, you might figure out the places is intended to sell cars for parts, not to put them back on the road. As such, chassis damage or damage to shocks and stuff really isn't a concern. I've never been to a salvage yard that treats cars any better than Copart does. They all use forklifts or similar, for example.
Now, the rude employees, lies about inspections, and all that, are bad. Hidden fees are bad, too. So maybe you have something there. However, if you are buying a car at Copart to drive it, you obviously have no idea what the place is for. You are literally buying a car from a scrap/junk/salvage yard. It is totalled. Expect to get some parts off of it at best. If you are able to rehab it into a working car, that's great, but certainly not the norm.

what do you expect, you buying SALVAGE guys 4 years ago I bought acura mdx 04 and still running perfectly ,there is a risk and if want to buy from copart make sure you buy at least 2011 and up don't buy 15 years old car for $800 and expect to work perfect.

I bought a car from them, drove 500 miles to find out that it was stinky junk that did not even start. I spent a lot of many and nerves to get rid of that car. If you are ready to loose some hair, start dealing with copart.

You should have been able to get your money back. But there may be a policy that if you take the vehicle from Copart and accept the title then they are not liable. If you had seen it was not the right title before you took the vehicle off of their premises then they would have to buy it back from you! That is not good business practice though.

I am currently an employee at Copart. I see what happens inside those fences. I take the pictures that you see online. We try our best to show every angle of the car. The reason why Copart charges a loading fee, it pays for the wear and tear on the loaders plus the fuel. Anybody have a question?

i used to buy lots of salvage motorcycles on copart. what they dont tell you when you buy a vehicle is that you have 4 days to pay for it and pick it up after that its an awfull 20 dlls storage fee per day. also all the paper work you have to bring in, in order to get premier membership is awfull. also their 600 dlls premier membership fee????? its so high all the other websites are so much cheaper with their fees to get to be a premier membership. they stoped having good deals on bikes only the junk nobody wants is what you can get for a half ass decent price.

What a bunch of idiotic comments from uneducated buyers who don't take the time to learn what Copart is about...... It is an insurance salvage auction and a liquidator for troubled dealer cars. Which if any of the above rocket scientists think any auction is absolutely a great product and great deal? Obviously the lack of due diligence and greed spurs the buyers to wind up with buyers remorse.

I've sold and bought many cars through the years and have learned like many business experiences is that you get out of a experience what you invest in it Copart has a duty to represent buyers and sellers equally to keep their business in business. So if you got screwed on a deal, look in the mirror..... It's only your self to blame!!!!!

Lazy people and whiners move on.....

I notice that nigeria and yemen are bidding on cars and driving up the cost on the live auctions, My question is don't they sell cars over seas, I cannot imagine the shipping cost would be that little from the middle of the USA. Seems crazy to me.

Thats find and dandy, but I got my winch and I also drove mine on, Do you think they waved that fee for me or anyone like myself that hates those loaders moving their vehicles, many times those loaders have bent things under the vehicle and also put holes in the gas tanks.
