fist get your head shaved. seriously shave it for 2 times and use minoxodil 2% in front of your head i.e. your receded part.

Hey kuljeet kaur and gold.Today in morning after getting ready for college i went to mom.I told her that i want cut.She said no.I told her that i want to cut.She again said no.I came back and went to college. After college i directly went to hair saloon.I parked my activa, entered inside and went to the counter and asked that boy for cutting. He called the hairdresser.Firstly hairdresser took me for washing my hairs. He washed my hairs then allot me chair. My hairs were wet. Then he asked me my name and the haircut which i want.I told him my name. Then i told him to give me a good haircut,to remove my split ends and do muhe baal.He asked me you are sikh girl?I said yes. Then i said him bhaiya please mere baal ache condition mein kr dena or ache se kaatna.i am very tensed about my hair condition so anyways i want them good.he understood my problem and told me to keep calm.he caped me.Then started combing. After removing tangles he took scissors. Before cutting he asked about length, then i said bhaiya jitna kaatne ki jroorat hai kaat do,bs baal ache krdo ek baar.He said ok.He took scissors and cut about 4 inches of my hairs. My hairs length came till my shoulders.I got surprisd on seeing hairs on floor.I said bhaiya aapne to bot baal kaat diye,he said mam shoulders se neeche k baal bot kharab the to kaatne pdhne the.Abb aapke baal ache grow krenge, aap tension matt lo.After cutting length he made my proper shoulder cut .Then dried my hairs, remove cape.i saw myself in mirror, i was looking totally different.i was very happy as he remove my tension. He told me to come time to time to saloon as my hairs now need full care.I said ok.Then i paid on counter and that boy also said good change.

@ Harsimran Kaur
I know many of my friends and relatives were hesitating to get First haircut and once they had then they like it and start visiting saloon on regular intervals and like to reduce their hair length on every visit, for their comfort. So it is for the first time slowly slowly it will become part of your routine activities. so keep on visit saloon regularly. also convince your mother for haircut just once, if she agrees then it will be more easy for you. convince that she will feel and look younger.
Congratulations once again

Well young friends, I am an elderly person and father of a 18 year old who feels the same way about hair being a burden. Well young folks when my son asked me the question if he could cut his hair. I was shocked, had been close to him and tried to be his friend, but I was more sorry because I had failed to give him an understanding of what an actual Sikh is. Sikh is not just the five K's. You could loose the 5 K's and still be a Sikh. But loose it for what reason counts. If you want to loose is just for vanity and to seek peer approval sorry girls and boys you are not good enough to be Sikhs and should not be wearing the Sikh attire, of the 5 K's. It is like public putting on COPS attire even when they are not COPS. So all of you who are not good enough to understand the ideology of Sikhism and are ashamed to be Sikhs or born Sikhs do the real Singh's a big favour by not appearing like one. I cannot imagine if some of you were put in the position of Baba Zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh (sons of Guru Gobind Singh ji) just 8-6yrs old what would have you kids done? All Singhs'/Kaurs' are at par with the Guru as per the Guru's last Jama. Considering this all kids who do not understand why and how we can be Sikhs it would be a respect to the Guru not trying to show the world that you are one of his. The first step to being a Sikh is having the faith in the Guru and his teachings, if you have it without the rituals you are blessed anyways and if you are there then looking for peer approval for your deeds would not be an issue. I and assure you peer pressure for good deeds is much less, more is to put on hep showy clothes, smoke, drink, drugs etc. If you think that is great, have a field day. May Wahe Guru bless you all.

Regarding my parents about haircut alot changed in 9 years, my sister has a ponytail and my jijaji is a cut serd. So all in all no issuesfrom parents. Regarding conversion my parents wont cume to know about it as anjali would never tell them but it was necessary because anjali's parents wanted me to be a jain and she was helpless. The timing was as their family had found a jain boy for anjalis marraige, so i had too. But after my haircut i feel relieved. Shave is easier then trimming your beard, its easier to bathe and comb, its stylish to gel the hair. Anjali was happy to see my new look and straight away touched my hair and moved her hand through my hair. Ashish mocked my haircut by showing the video of haircut. The way the scissors went across the pony of hair was awesome. Though i miss chicken but i will adhere jainism for anjali. Anjali has long hair toll her knee. After my haircut she also plans for a mushroom cut and for it she will accompany me to the saloon.
I went in for a haircut with anjali. We sat on the adjacent seats and the barber started his work. It was my second haircut so was a fun. Anjali was a bit nervous since she was gonna cut her very long hair to a smart pony till shoulders. The barber suggested a short hair to me since the hair on forehead were weak and disfigured. I agreed. The barber gave me a shampoo and the using a scissor and comb started his work. The hair fell off after every crunch and the feel was nice. After around 15 mins the task was over as he applied some gel to spike up and style my hair. Meanwhile anjali had got a shoulder length hair to which i suggested a mushroom cut, anjali agreed. Then barber again took the scissors and cut her hair and what came out was awesome, now we looked a made for each other couple. I kept on touching here short hair and she admired my spikes and cleanshaven face. My brother in law ashish jain also appreciated my haircut. The gud feeling would now remain life long.

hey Gold Kaur & Kuljeet,

have more stories to tell, about compliments, comments, happenings and motivations inspiration FB notifications etc etc much more. I was totally busy from last two months for the queries and questions only. silly questions from friends, neighbors & relatives like
Haye jasleen tu waal kata te? kyon kataye? kadoon kataye? kiven kataye? kise ne rokya nahin waal katwaan toon?
haye kine lambe si sara kata dite?
and mix response of encouraging and discouraging you can say 80% encouraging 15 % discouraging & 5% says does not matter coz long hairs were good but short hairs has its own beauty & cum4t.
so was to busy to giving answers etc & handling stupid queries and giving saloon address as well, again & again repeated questions

Any of you cut surd or sardarni....do you believe in God
Did you ever feel God, ever been to any Gurudware? Ever heard sikhism history....

Okay other part...haven't you ever felt proud about what were....haven't ever seen other sardar aur sardarni who looked handsome or beautiful??

Try doing path once....koi bhi....thoda sa...try not cutting your hairs for some weeks...sewa karo...you may feel something....you haven't felt...something you always missed....something which is a precious gift by Waheguru...something which i call 'Anand'

Hmm...bot changa lagega!!

Try to give it a try...

Okay...let's have deal try these all things.....JUST TO PROVE ME WRONG!!... Just try.....don't even tell anyone...don't even tell at this forum too....

I am a sikh boy 19 years old and i never felt to have a haircut untill 3 months back. I was born as a sikh and hence had long hair, but my mother and sister both used to cut their hair. My father used was a complete gursikh but it was never a parental pressure to keep a joora, since the growth of my heard was irregular snd scattered hence i started trimming it off and kept a stubble. I love tying a turban untill i went to delhi to pursue my higher studies. Life is quite fast over here and being in mainstream was the question. All my friends were hindus and they had haircuts, my best friend gaurav one day just asked me to cut my hair and be like him and he even told that i would look smart with a haircut and also younger and then i can shave, since now the stubble doesnt suit me as the beard growth is shunted. I share a gud bond with gaurav and ashish. But when ashish also said the same thing i started thinking about it. So then i gave in and told them that i am ready for a haircut. Gaurav immediately got a scissors and ashish removed my patka. They made a pony of my hair and gaurav chopped it off. Then we went to a barber and he gave me a short crop and shaved my face. Since them i am a clean shavenguy and i love it.
