Is Obama ineffective as a world leader ? Does he make us look weak by trying to appease our enemies, instead of taking them to task ? The response I'm getting is yes, especially after North Korea basically spit in our face when Obama did nothing to stop their long range missile test. Why will he not take a firm stand on the Pirates that are seizing our merchant ships at sea ? Why did he send 900 million dollars to the Palestinians, does he not think this money will not end up in the hands of Hamas? How long will he continue to ignore Iran's nuclear threat ? These are just a few areas of concern. What do you think ?

Could Iran Have Nukes in 60 Days?
http://www.metimes.com/International/2009/04/...

Quote From Source Link:
Paragraphs 2 & 3

"No sooner had the U.S. administration of Barack Obama announced Wednesday that it will be taking part in talks with the Islamic Republic of Iran and the five permanent members of the U.N. Security Council, plus Germany, to discuss Iran's nuclear program, the very next day the Iranians announced they had reached the hallmark point of running 7,000 centrifuges, an important stepping stone on the way to becoming a full-fledged nuclear power."

"Having crossed that hurdle, and with centrifuges churning away around the clock to upgrade uranium, which could relatively quickly be turned into weapons-grade uranium, one U.S. expert in nuclear energy and weaponry estimates Iran could have a working bomb within 50 to 60 days."

I have been finding in direct conversation, that people in general are uncomfortable with the current administration. They instinctively mistrust them, and do not believe they have the best interest of the US at heart. Take for example the economic crisis. It has been building for many years, people in both parties (but mostly democrat) have been making decisions, and passing laws, that hurt the "working middle class". Allot of people including myself, see Obama using the economic meltdown as an opportunity to create chaos, on a mass scale, on purpose. As people become more and more desperate, looking to government for a solution, Obama and the government agencies become more powerful. At some point the chaos, and violence will build to the point that people will beg for martial law, and Obama, along with the other elitist that are in positions of power, will be more than willing to oblige the people's will, by promptly putting us into a semi,(if not outright) police state. The government has had the technological advantage over the people for many years now. It will be next to impossible to reverse martial law once the government has justified it's use, they will have the upper hand on everything. Including food, healthcare, and housing. The government will be telling you what, how, when and where to do everything you can imagine. Including when, and if, you can legally defend yourself from a direct attack on yourself, and family. Hopefully enough people will wake up before it is too late. We should all Pray to God they do.

The Tax Capital of the World
http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1239402860751...

Quote from source link: paragraphs 7,8 & 9.

Mr. Silver says of the coming tax hikes: "We've done it before. There hasn't been a catastrophe." Oh, really? According to Census Bureau data, over the past decade 1.97 million New Yorkers left the state for greener pastures -- the biggest exodus of any state. New York City has lost more than 75,000 jobs since last August, and many industrial areas upstate are as rundown as Detroit. The American Legislative Exchange Council recently said New York had the worst economic outlook of all 50 states, including Michigan. And that analysis was done before these $4 billion in new taxes. How does Mr. Silver define "catastrophe"?

Oh, and it isn't just high earners who get smacked. The new budget raises another $2 billion or so on top of the $4 billion in income taxes with some 100 new taxes, fees, fines, surcharges and penalties to be paid by all New York residents. There are new charges for cell phone usage, fishing permits, health insurance (the "sick tax"), electric bills, and on bottled water, cigars, beer and wine. A New York Post analysis found that a typical family of four with an income below $100,000 would pay more than $800 a year in higher taxes and fees.

This is advertised as a plan of "shared sacrifice," but the group that is most responsible for New York's budget woes, the all-powerful public employee unions, somehow walk out of this with a 3% pay increase. The state is receiving an estimated $10 billion in federal stimulus money, and Democrats are spending every cent while raising the state budget by 9%. Then they insist with a straight face that taxes are the only way to close the budget deficit.

Obama is not an effective leader. The europeans did not go along and start printing more money like he wanted. He went half way on exposing Guantanamo. He couldn't persuade Israel from its hawkish tendencies towards Iran. he's nothing but the poster boy for identity politics.

We made a change and now we need to make an adjustment 2010 is just around the corner that is if we are still here...The world recognizes the weakness of America at this point and is exploiting the opportunity...The rape and pillage of America has begun in 08 under the guise of change, a fist bump and a hollywood smile...Wake up America if you think this recession is bad just wait, global chaos is coming the inmates are running the asylum....

and to expect Obama to fix everything in 4 months is just ridiculous! It took us years to get into this mess, it will take years to get out of.
At least we have the man in office that can do it!

obama

Please explain to all of us where you are going to get the money for all of these programs.

Social Security is in such good shape that it was recently revealed it will run out of money even before the pointy hats thought it would.

And now obama wants to run health care.

He's an idiot!

Daily Horoscope for December 10

Cancer

Someone dear to your heart isn't exactly a barrel of laughs today, are they? Is it your imagination or are they taking a perverse delight in spreading doom and gloom in all directions? If they've got good reason to be miserable then they deserve your sympathy, but even so it may not last for long. Try to keep active and cheerful, otherwise you'll also develop a tendency to brood.
