For all you movie buffs, this is the thread to post about movies you've recently seen. Give your opinion on a film, whether you liked the film or not.
A friend of mine recently gave me a bootleg copy of the horror film "Jennifer's Body",starring Megan Fox. Megan's character is a demon possessed teenager. She goes around eating people! Some of the scenes are pretty bloody,so if you have a weak stomach--you may want to pass on this film. The acting is decent, but then again it's a horror film so what do you expect.lol If you like horror, then this film maybe for you. I'm going to see the action film "Whiteout" this weekend. I'll tell you if it's worth checking out.

Hey Finest! I loaded a pic with me sitting in a movie theater waiting for YOU!** wink wink **

Have you seen 'Tyler Perry's I Can Do Bad All By Myself'? I haven't seen it either. Maybe there are discussions about it on AA (?) but I haven't been over there for ages. If I can make some time I wanna watch that movie and form opinions on my own. ;)

I saw Whiteout,it was a decent film. But I know you don't really like action films so I wouldn't recommend it. I just rented "The Knowing" last night with Nicholas Cage. It was kind of cool. It's really a sci-fi type of movie. You might like it. It was very intriguing.

Oh yeah I've seen that movie when it was out. Usually Nicolas Cage's movies aren't that great but i liked this one. Some of those whispering people crept me out a bit. Wish you were there holding my hands (wink). And the end was kinda sad. Don't you think?

Those whispering guys were creepy! It was a pretty good film. I liked the special effects. And the two kids were good. It was kind of sad,but it ends with the idea of a better tomorrow. I also rented the comedy "Next Day Air. I'll tell you tomorrow if it's any good. Do you like comedies? I bet you do,you seem to have a playful personality.

I just flew back from Thailand recently and whilst on the plane I watched a movie called 'The Proposal' starring Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds. It was a kind of romantic comedy which I don't usually go in for but this was an excellent movie and I highly recommend it to anyone. Very funny, very romantic and highly entertaining. Most worthwhile. A real feel good movie and quite uplifting, a nice change from all the depressing news we are bombarded with every day.

I'm not that big on romantic comedies but I might check it out. If it's really funny,it might be worth checking out.

So have you seen that 'Next Day Air' movie, KJ? I haven't seen that one. I haven't seen 'The Proposal' either, but I saw that other Ryan Reynolds movie 'Definitely, Maybe', where he was playing a divorced father? He's pretty good. When he's in that TV series 'Two Guys and a Girl', I did not think he has it in him to be a good actor. He is a little too pretty to be a comedian, so I thought.

Next Day Air was okay I guess. It was kind of funny but it ends very weird. It leaves you wanting more. I haven't seen the proposal yet. I heard it's pretty good. I liked Ryan Reynolds in Wolverine. He was really good. Didn't he marry Scarlett Johansson? Scarlet will be in Iron Man 2! I can't wait for that film to come out next year!

Yeah, it does seem Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds were married. lol they managed to keep it relatively quiet so maybe that's a good sign. I bet Johansson would be your kind of actress. She's both sexy and good at what she does. Did she win best supporting actress for 'Lost in Translation'? I don't remember but if she didn't win she should have.

Yeah,Scarlett is a pretty good actress. I don't think she has won an Oscar yet. I'm sure she will one day. She does a lot of Woody Allen films. This weekend "Surrogates" comes out. It stars Bruce Willis and it's one of those futuristic sci-fi films. The previews look pretty good. I might check it out. And the film "Fame" comes out also. It has been getting good reviews. I bet you like those musical type films. Since you like to dance.

I liked the original 'Fame'. It is reminiscent of those old John Travolta movies. lol I used to spend hours in front of the TV trying to imitate those moves. It's so much fun!:)

The original Fame was good. I remember watching it as a kid. You know what I want to see? That new film "Avatar". It looks pretty good. Check out this trailer:

An M. Night Shyamalan film huh? He has a reputation of a being a little corny. But this might be an interesting one to see. I like the fantastical atmosphere in that trailer.

His best film was The Sixth Sense. One of the best thrillers I had seen in awhile. But his new one looks pretty good. I like all those special effects. He can be corny sometimes.lol

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Capricorn

A certain person is strong-willed with the Full Moon in your emotional house of others. It's a lunar eclipse too, so this could lead to some ructions in which everyone becomes firmly entrenched in their own opinions and refuses to acknowledge anyone else's point of view. Get the arguments out of the way early on, so you can then concentrate on having a really enjoyable New Year's Eve.
