Look back through my posts. Many times I've berated white men for posting racist crap. Like I've said time and time again, I am not racist in the slightest. What I hate is when people of any race start saying that they are superior to other races or that they only date a specific race.

That is why I have a problem when you say stuff like, "White women love black men". Do they really? Most white women I know would happily date a black guy if he was attractive, smart and had a good personality. But when I ask them if they love black men, they look at me and go, "What????"

I hate to tell you this, but just because white women date black men, doesn't mean they love black men in general. Why do black guys think that if a white woman dates a black man, she is going to like all black men???

I am married to a Chinese Malay. Do I love Chinese women? Nope. Just her. Do white men love Asian women? Nope. Some date them, of course, but most date the woman because they like the woman, not because she's Asian.

Most black guys I know simply want to have a level playing field for dating whichever woman they choose to. I'll share my experience as I think it could be helpful to some. I'm black. My parents are of Nigerian origin, although I was born in the UK.

I was always raised to believe that where the woman I married came from geographically was less important than whether she made me happy and whether I could make her happy.

Thus my siblings married whomever they wished. I have Nigerian and a Thai inlaw. My wife is a Filipina.

Why did I marry a Filipina?
When I decided I was finally mature enough to marry and wanted someone to cherish, I considered the things that were most important to me. I.e.
My faith
Family orientation
Peace of mind
An attractive spouse, etc.

I could certainly find a woman with these qualities anywhere in the world but I believed that there were likely to be more women possessing the combination of characteristics I sought in the Philippines. The first time I chatted online with my wife, I knew I was right and that she possessed everything I was looking for and needed. Most importantly though, I knew instantly that i could really love her as she needed to blossom as only she could.

We NEVER argue. Not because she is subservient but because she knows that I detest arguing. Every other woman I met along the way, would have argued anyway.
