I dunno...maybe because they want to? And where did you hear that he didn't like black people? FYI, Ed Hardy is the name of the tattoo artist that the clothing line is based on; the name of the designer who licensed his art work to put on this clothing line is Christian Audigier, who also designs the Von Dutch clothing line. And who cares who wears what? People have a right to buy and wear whatever clothing they choose...just make sure it's appropriate for the occasion.

noone ever heard of ed hardy until celebrities, and yes mostly black celebrities started wearing it, ya know there's a thing called freedom of speech and if these designers don't want black folks wearing there clothes then sew that statement right into the the tag, only problem is, without the celebrity endorsements they get from blacks they're clothing lines would probably be sold at kmart and walmart if that!

About 2 years ago my older sisters boyfriend worked for the company and he would take stuff from the boat and sell them to all his friends... i started wearing the original ed hardy before anyone else around me even knew what it was. they thought it was weird with all the rhimestones/dragons/panthers/d eath or dishonor was weird/different. then a year later people started wearing it like it was out of style. all types of races and ages. i guess they started making tall tees and baggie pants for "black people" and it started selling fast and i cant even think of all the money that guys making... the thing is i believe that people like me are going 2 be sick of it and notice everybody wearing the same thing.... i only wore it to be different.. i think people will not buy any of it once it gets worn out.... mabey one day it would be another fad. but the answer to your question is that every body wears it... and dont worry its gonna end up a fad:a temporary fashion, notion, manner of conduct, etc., esp. one followed enthusiastically by a group.

mindgames first from 'which' i came is improper english.Unless of course you listen to the eels which im sure with your strong cultural influences you wouldnt. whence? really who are you and what century are you from? Old english does not make for proper english so shut the oxford dictionary. As for your culture, no richer than any other. And to everyone involved in this conversation especially the african american side (if thats the politically correct way to address you this week) I thought we all wanted to be equals and thats what you were fighting for so why would you define any type of fashion as an essentially "urban" fashion?

this topic is so funny. what does it matter what race you are to wear a certain clothing. typically white kids try to dress and act like black kids because black kids have style. Ed hardy works with Diddy because he knows where he will make his money at, which is the black community. lets get over this whole race thing to regardless white or black ed hardy can be worn by anyone.

Hey if you go to TJMax you can get ed hardy cheap. So I do not know what the big deal is. I like prada and gucci and that is far better than some spray painted shirt.

listen there is no such thing as "acting black" or "acting white" people act how they want because they want too and theres no reason to hate on it.. i wear ed hardy, bathing ape, bbc, ralph lauren, lacoste, lrg,(and im talking the real stuff not that gay knock off stuff) and all that good stuff and im white.. i dont get why people have to hate on what people wear.. if you got money sport it who the hell cares.. but i mean if your gonna sport the fake stuff and act like its real then piss off cause that kind of stuff makes me mad

there are alot of idiots on this thing...american culture follows the YOUTH. Young people like trends. there you have it. alot of white people dont even know enough blacks to make a comment on OUR culture. and alot of blacks dont know anything about whites. get over yourself. and im buying a very nice white, vneck ed hardy shirt for 50% tonight. and its real.
