I've been seeing alot of talk about the Tackle Box in South Point being the only local bait and tackle shop around. Outback Archery Bait and Tackle is located in Lavalette; 5 minutes from the interstate. They carry many diferent lines of fishing tackle such as Shimano, Abu Garcia, Zooms, just about anything you can imagine tackle related. They're prices are lower than anyones in the tri-state. They also special order from Bass Pro Shops, and they dont charge shipping. I have been going to Outback Archery Bait and Tackle since the day they opened. You guys should really check them out.

went to outback archery purchased a bow no problems granted I'm new to archery but would it kill the Guy to explain what he is doing. First of all he adjusted the poundage never checked it didn't e end know what it was set on, cut my arrows about an inch to short, lost or sold the quiver off my bow which was a ready to hunt model mind you it was on there when I laid it away which was not long about two weeks. In general a pretty shitty attitude and acted like he was in a break neck hurry to get me out of there. I was polite and he even had to put a string back on which was partially off a new bow mind you. Overall a lack luster experience and left a bad taste in my mouth I will not be back.

They have a pretty good selection of products, but the archery side is pretty bad to say the least. I won't go back either. Is there anybody else close by?

I've been to this shop for over 4 years. The owners are the nicest and considerate people I've met. They give a lot of products away to kids that parents can't afford the equipment. As for old dad, the typical thing to do is lower the poudage before drawing it back since most bows are maxed out from the factory. Also I know the owner they wouldn't steal or sale anything that wasn't theirs.

Hey old dad to be a novice you sure have a professional opinion on things. And Buckhunter you have never been in their store. They have the largest selection of archery products in the tri state, and the best bow tech their is. If you had been there it must have been recently when their empty from season opening.

I believe u mean Bigbuck. Sorry I don't understand why people try to hurt small businesses for. I've been their several times and have never seen any problems or no of any.

I kno many bow shops around the tri-state and the best one hands down is obriens archery. These so called bow techs that u all are talkin about dont kno there ass from a hole in the ground. This place was very unproffesional abouy the way they do business. All they are worried about is takin ur money. I have heard people sayin that they were charged over 20 dollars to get a loop a peep and all the odds and ends that u need after they bout the bow. If these were good honest people they would do it for free when u spend hundreds of dollars for a bow. Hell i would rather travel to cinncinati to bass pro to get my bow worked on if they were the only bow shop around.

I know when I purchased a bow from Todd's sporting goods he set everything up for free. He even took me to the range downstairs and made sure my settings was right after he adjusted everything. Todd is a great bow tech and he even went away for training on it. They have great customer service. Try them. They treat u good.
