Krabi (True Magnetic North)- you have Chinese wife you live in Thailand - is she getting too liberal for you?

If you are satisfied with your current wife/life how can you be fed up with liberal women? You don't deal with any, except women on these sites. And no one forces you to post on here you do it yourself in you free time.

Starting threads like this make you look like a grumpy old bear unhappy with your life.
Be happy and enjoy your life and family.

I thought "PaintedQuote" would show up b4 you, but I KNEW that you would come.

Just a question for you: Do you take drugs, or are you only functionally literate in English? What's wrong with you?

So you are looking for a nice debate - I thought so.

No I don't take drugs - I eat very healthy. Any problems with typos are b/c I have to get a new video card or monitor. I have static lines across every part of the screen - also I am not a great word processor, as I said before.

But most of the time, most of my fellow posters are able to read and understand my posts.

I have to go to work now - but might drop in again this evening to see who else has joined the party.

I didn't have time to read your long post to King Jabbar on his new thread - but I saw the thing about blacklisted American women.

I honestly don't know why a man far removed from this country and married to a Chinese woman is so hell bent on tearing down women that you don't even have to deal with anymore.

read you later

Hmmm...let's see here. Well, actually, you are right. That's what I want- a Stepford wife. That's what women were designed to do, a today's "Liberated" women are artificial constructs who inevitably won't last in today's cruel, cold world. You see, when an economy sours, women are not going to be able to find jobs, so then what are they going to do? Women, in the very near future, may not be doing those things (i.e. cooking and cleaning in the house) but they will be doing exactly the same thing in the service industries, altho they won't be doing it for a husband (they will be doing for a company for very meager pay.

A woman who feels that, for whatever reasons, because she is free of the confines of the household and the responsibilities that come with it, she is somehow better off and more "educated". I don't think that women today are any smarter than women were, say, 50 yrs ago, but what do you think? If anything, women aren't even as smart as they were 50 yrs ago. And being that most cannot really cook, they have helped create an entire industry of fastfoods and pre-packed foods full of preservatives and toxins and other unhealthy gook that is literally poisoning the people. That alone suggests that something is amok. Not only are they (women) doing irrepairable harm to themslves, but they are also abetting in the harm of their very own children and the population as a whole.

There's always hippie communal living. I always joke about this at work. We need to have certain people who are good at or willing to learn how to do some very important jobs and then we can all be good little contributing commune hippies.

Peace and Love Brother

No?

I'm joking I am too young to be a real hippie and many of them were just smoking weed and that's why they felt so free.

I do think the village/commune mentality may be an answer to worse economic times though. Bartering is something my mother's English community did a lot of during WWII when all you had was ration books. So if I can knit a shawl for so and so's grandmother maybe I can get a dozen eggs or a third party barter for a haircut.

I might not have to be someone else's slave - I would rather think positively.

A very interesting post, actually. Eventually, tho, we- as Americans, are going to have to comes crashing down to earth. The economic bubble we are living in is eventually going to burst- permanently this time, and if we are to survive then we're going to be doing a lot of basic things that we have been avoiding or put others to doing. Do you know how many millions upon millions of foreign women go to America to work in the service industry? I'm not sure either, but the # must be in the 10s of millions. Are they doing work that American women feel is somehow beneath them? I think so. Just remember, cooking for your family and doing household chores doesn't make you subservient to your husband, and it doesn't mean that you are old-fashioned or somehow being "oppressed". It's called LIVING, and living isn't always fun.

Skip the pregnant, but barefoot in the kitchen wearing a Sophia Loren style peasant dress would be nice. ;-)

Actually that's a very romantic thought. I like Sophia Loren. At least she has some class and knows that senuous doesn't have to be porno.

Guys find yourself a foreign wife if you want traditional values in a woman. Not all but a lot of american women only care about partying and screwing around that's why you are not happy with them, your wasting your lives chasing american women.

In cases where there are two incomes I don't see a problem with hiring help at least sometimes. I am not happy to see children being raised in daycare though - I really think that is the most important job - I had a Mom at home and I believe it really helped me.

If I had been able to have a child I would have tried to do everything to be there when the child was young. I would have started back to work with a part time job when the child was 3 or 4 years into elementary school.

My friends parents broke up and her mother had to work full time to support her and her brother. She also thinks it's important for one parent to be available while the children are young she feels she missed out on having her mom there.

Even in a divorce if a mom can be there for the children I think it is worth trying, and child support shouldn't be abused by the caretaker but it also shouldn't be begrudged by the person who is not taking care of the children.

Crud happens in relationships - but children are our future - raising them to be industrious and respectful adults is our job.

On a sad note - it is possible my niece has swine flu. They started her on Tamiflu yesterday. I hope she is okay and my brother and sister-in-law can manage to avoid it.

another Charleston troll - are you one person acting like many or do you have some sort of internet center in Charleston and pay people to post in public forums? I have only been on here a few months and have seen at least 8 different aliases that you use.

Thanks for the vid and your kind words, Kyro. I'm not sure if Sophia Loren barefoot in a peasant dress is a romantic thought, but it certainly is a sensuous one! She is arguably the most sensuous woman who has ever lived.

I was thinking something like this

Poor Krabi--are you foolish enough to think just women invented fast-food? Men are not that smart either, if you were, you would have found better alternitives to all the damage "women" have done. I haven't heard any woman claim to be smarter than the women of yesterday.

she was wearing a pretty lacy white dress in the last photo

You can take her home to meet Momma in that dress.:o)

The funny thing about that video clip - it was taken from the movie Houseboat.

Sophia plays the daughter of a famous italian conductor who doesn't know anything about cooking or cleaning and but gets hired by Cary Grant's character who is a recent widower as a maid/cook/ and nanny.

It's pretty funny.
