I'll never forget the day my 91 Buick Park Ave wasn't up to the challenge of starting and I was forced to use public transportation (da bus).

As luck would have it, the public high schools were letting loose the future 7-11 holdup artists and drive-by shooters at the very instant I arrived at da bus stop.

The stench on that bus reminded me of catching pollywogs when I was a kid -- the overwhelming stench of a stagnant pond -- POND SCUM.

The question that raced through my my mind as my eyes burned out of my head was ...

"For the love of God, don't these people ever wash their hair???"

Anyway, I exited da bus 2 blocks from my entry point, grateful for the glorious fresh air. Needless to say, I sold the Buick the very next day.
