If you're a simple victim of simple assaults, simple slander, simple vandalism, one would normally report it locally,... problem solved (beyond maybe stupid antics, etc).

If you're a real, true victim of OS,(have reported simple assaults), you're a victim of higher level real assaults,(reprisal/vendetta) crimes, enormous violations, victimization, obstruction and tampering, etc. that clearly involve wide ranging (American unconstitutional, undemocratic, privacy/civil rights/liberties) atrocities and corruption, otherwise you wouldn't be looking for answers else where.

OS is, and has always been a product of the much larger abuses/misconduct behind "organized scheming (civil servant/enforcement) corruption," just as all the other known felony crimes this network of corruption has laws for (although obviously not enforced) and repeatedly listed in posts !

The difference between a perspective of approaching OS, as targeting vs. victimization is as enormous as a perspective approaching OS as perps vs. felony criminals. It's a big difference ! It's an enormous difference!

OS targeting by simple perp antics.(This is labeling, it's nothing but, same as acronyms EH, DEW, V2K, which are all associated labeling)!

OS victimization by obviously underlying, much larger real felony crimes/violations/atrocities/ corruption/obstruction/ tampering etc., identifies obvious, known, and recognized (USDOJ) "organized scheming" felony criminal behaviors operating above and outside the law for kicks, vendettas and reprisals (all OS)!(Has nothing to do with labeling, it doesn't even come into the picture)!

(watering down wouldn't be expanding OS to the much larger "organized scheming corruption." Watering down would be restricting it to a much more narrow views). Again, think it's more of a difference of perspectives between cultural differences, size, organization, values, levels/depth/breath of experienced crimes etc. Your focus seems concentrated on the individual. Mine is organizational (again based on thousands of pages of challenging this corruption over years here, that you couldn't possibly know or experience in 14mos., and something that obviously would be different based on countries along).

Good luck with everything!

I'm trying not to fixate on any specific idea as there is very little information to connect the dots. Targeted individual is very important aspect, but not necessarily main aspect. If it's a research on some sort of social/cultural weaponry - the individual becomes secondary focus. If it's a set up for something TI might become in the future (violent, crazy, criminal)- institutions that would be taking care of such individual comes to mind. One possible focus is on social aspect of it as attack is not only on the individual, but community that individual resides as well. Community for most part have to support the attack, meaning it's defined as benefiting community. It's not like they are forced to do anything. Probably instructed. The reality that appears for TI is not necessarily the same as it appears for others.

I like to encounter different point of view as naturally i'm inclined to step in their shoes and try to understand their position on the issue.

I don't quite understand your definition of OS/GS, we might be talking about something entirely different. You blame corruption and obstruction. What if OS/GS is procedure to be followed, method to be executed, some sick scientific research where protocols are followed and closely monitored? Will it be corruption, unethical research or crime?

EFF to Supreme Court: Blanket DNA Collection Violates Fourth Amendment
Law Enforcement Should Not Gather Genetic Information Without a Warrant

In addition to Maryland, 27 states and the federal government have laws that mandate DNA collection from anyone arrested, even if they are not yet convicted of a crime. EFF has filed amicus briefs in a number of cases challenging these unconstitutional laws.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has shown increasing sensitivity to the power of sophisticated technology to undermine traditional privacy protections.

Transparency Project

Knowing “what the government is up to” is often the first step in ensuring that the government respects the civil liberties of its citizens.

To that aim, EFF’s Transparency Project is dedicated to using federal and state freedom of information laws, the courtroom, and our megaphone to shine light on government activities.

Once the smear campaign is underway, and people get to talking. You can never truly clear your name. People close to you might know its not true. But people are still not gonna understand. And there not gonna be comfortable when your around.
I would love the chance to clear my name. It sucks not being able to verbally defend yourself, against the allegations. Its to widespread, and you dont know exactly what was said. The only way it seems possible is to move away.

Who would want to socialize with someone being accused of being violent, racist, pedofile, gay, or a terrorist? Once that gets started people are going to shy away from you. Some people will go out of their way to screw with you. Maybe its as simple as that.

I believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt. But I also know most people wont do that. Some people believe whatever they hear. And its easier to believe a lie then search/dig for the truth.

What I do know is my reputation is screwed. Its gonna take years for me to clear my name. Also noone wants to talk about it. So most of those feelings are repressed. But life goes on.

The Terror Factory: Inside the FBI’s Manufactured War on Terror shows how the FBI has, under the guise of engaging in counterterrorism since 9/11, built a network of more than 15,000 informants whose primary purpose is to infiltrate Muslim communities to create and facilitate phony terrorist plots so that the bureau can then claim victory in the war on terror.

The book offers unprecedented detail into how the FBI has transformed from a reactive law enforcement agency to a proactive counterterrorism organization–including the full story of an accused murderer who became one of the FBI’s most prolific terrorism informants–and how the FBI has used phony terrorist plots to justify spending $3 billion every year on counterterrorism.

I feel exactly the same way. The loss of social status is probably biggest source of stress for most of TI's. With little imagination one can project a negative outcome in many social situations, thus limiting interaction and isolating himself. So "clearing name" part also becomes more and more distant. Worrying about the nature of the rumors doesn't stop as target constantly is reminded about it. Natural process of rumors and gossip is that it stops short of their targets, constructed to prevent for people to learn too much of what others think of them. So it's important to separate the natural processes of "scarlet letter", "crab mentallity" or "law of jante" and punishment methods that couldn't have been implemented solely by community itself.

Something we take for granted, thinking it's fundamental right to be free in free country. To be left alone.

You can look at it another way: it's just like high school, really. Rumors aren't as damaging as the other things that go on in these situations. Being slandered incessantly is bad, but I'm so used to it that I don't really care. Besides, most of our population is not comprised of brilliant intellectuals, if you know what I'm saying. People are gullible and will believe anything.

My companion died in his sleep Sunday morning. There was no warning- just a loud sigh and he was gone. Behind the bed where each of our heads lie against the wall, are two perfect rectangles. One for his head, and one for mine. Cops weren't sure what caused the "perfect" discoloration, But I do. We could hear the weapons being turned on above our heads and behind the wall where we would lean our heads while reading.

Thank you folks, so very much. I am going to have to move as I do not have the income for the apartment. We had just adopted two cats as well. I miss him terribly and can't figure out how he was awake and talking at 5 AM and dead at 7 with nothing but a loud sigh a bit earlier.

A few days prior he said he was feeling weak and did not go out- he laid in that bed reading, where you can actually see the marks the weapons behind our heads made. Perfect rectangles. No one's head is shaped like that. I think the weapons weakened his heart and eventually killed him.
