im from the east coast and didn't think latinas cared about white guys much, but when i lived in texas thats all i dated. Mexican women are exotic to me. I'm back in jersey now tho and white women is all im with now. I wished i still lived in texas i love thos mamiis

I think they took advantage of the money and everything. because most of latinos/nas are lazy enough to go to school and educate themselves and its their choice. you know. I'm not being racist here. its the truth and sometimes the truth hurts. Actually, I'm Asian. look every Asian in every school.Asian are willingly to graduate high school. and they have goals in life. I had an experience back in my days. This latina sats next to me and omfg. she can't even know how to solve a basic Algebra questions? so you can't blame these other races why they hate latinos and latinas. For the latinas who do prefer to marry non-Hispanic whites, a large factor I would say probably has to do with economics---just common sense.

I am Latino by the way and do just fine with both White women and Latina women. I actually prefer white women.

I don't believe marrying white makes you more accepted or educated. I'm mexican American and more educated than my Caucasian husband. I currently have a masters. Also, my folks were wealthy and I attended private schooling while my husband did not. I also served in the military as an officer right out of college. My white husband did not. Often times I'm the one correcting his grammar and helping him with reports. I can be successful, accepted, educated on my own apparently!

I guess in the end if there are some latinas who will agree to only be married to white guys, then that's that and they live their own private lives together. What I don't, as a Hispanic male, like is a Latina who does this with certain spite; they have a complex and think they'd marry up if their husbands are white and that their kids will end up looking pretty cool, etc.. it's like the thought of them possibly marrying Latinos (and I'm talking about well-educated, responsible ones who make a good living) makes them want to puke or feel ill. That's self-loathing right there. And then, before and after they marry their white husbands, these Latinas walk around with this sense of ridiculous arrogance, especially when they have to interact with Latinos in the office, at the store, in a conference, etc.. like they're better than them.
