All i know is Balcic is the place of Queen Maria of Romania. Building an airport to facilitate romanian citizens to visit their queen's palace is always a good thing.

Hate to state the obvious here, but Balchik tourism promotes its location as being placed ‘amphitheatrically around the bay, suggesting that if this airport is to be re-opened, this once charming and quirky town will be drowned in constant noise pollution for all residents and tourists.

The constant drone of planes, living under a flight path, noise and pollution reverberating around this charming amphitheatrically placed town.. cos that'll really draw the tourists in.
