Mike posts - "Jesus Christ JIM FROM SANFORD!! Shut the hell up!! This is not your personal blog. Why can't you just make one or two comments (NOT PREDICTIONS) and move on. As you can tell most people commenting hate your stupid ****"

Jim may post some predictions etc. that drive y'all crazy - however you should pay attention to the rest of his commentary as he has some very valid points as to what this team (that we all love)need to make them champions.

Great post!
By the way, did you see the Hawks come from way back to pull within 2 last night? The Magic then just poured it back on.
This team will get through the first round, then be a tough out in the 2nd! They'll build off that for next year.
If Phoenix doesn't draw Houston in the first round, they won't make it to the 2nd....and Grant Hill still won't make it past the first round.
I agree, I think that is an honest and accurate assesment of the Magic. I am thinking of writing a post for discussion about the chances of the Magic making it to the finals. Actually, I think the trade Phoenix made was so bad that they are now in danger of not making the playoffs. Trading their best defender and probably their best all around player is going to haunt them big time. Lets see, werent they first in the West and now they are what?? 6th I would not be surprised if they slide right down to 8-10 before the season is done.

Our scribe in China posts........"I want this team to have some energy left by the end of April and May. Probably in the next 10 games we will sew up the #3 spot and then we should relax and heal up for the playoffs. The front line should only play 30-35 minutes a game then and Foyle should get around 20-25. Give Gortat some playing time and then turn up. We will lose some games then and you will scream and yell but thats OK. Its good basketball."
Thats fine - probably would be a good thing to do - however let's see if the "A" team can play with the fire and intensity needed, especially on defence, over the next few games to give us the cushion we need to rest the troops. If they do then we could have a great playoff run. I hope that the dressing down that OS and SVG gave to Howard and Nelson will sink in and that the others will also respond. It obviously had an effect on Lewis last night.
I agree, I think that was what the meeting was about. Lets take care of business now and we can relax some later. I think Otis and SVG saw some lightheartedness a little too early and put a squelch on it real quick. Also, getting Nelson and Howard to show leadership while we sew up our playoff position will be good for the team in the long run. Do it now and in April we dont have to be under the pressure of winning our playoff position. Save it for the playoffs.

No I didnt see the Atlanta game. They had the Bucks on here again. The Magic need to draft a Chinese player so I can watch them all the time. I catch about half of their games on radio.

Everyone please calm down here. Foaming at the mouth like a rabbid animal who is being blocked from reaching a piece of raw meat is simply not gonna get it done. All of the anger and outrage is pure lunacy. This is all about the Orlando Magic. It is not about any of us in here.

Game after game, I notice that the Magic lack the drive, determination and focus that I see in other teams like the Spurs and the Celtics. I know we have talent, although I think we still need an exceptional point guard and a pure shooter from the perimeter. I wonder if the assistant coaches, etc., are less than motivational...inspirational? There is definitely something missing, and it has been missing since way before Brian Hill. I really do hope that the Magic can turn it up another notch as we head toward the playoffs.
Something missing? I think there is always something missing until you bring home the championship.

wrong: Bibbi score 18 point against Nelson and only 5 against Carlos.

I'm atleast enjoying sme wins that we haven't had in a long time.

You guys must be so used to losing that you can't even relax during a win and stop bashing the team.

Go Magic!

Micheal, did you really watched the game?? Bibby scored 3 in the first qtr and 15 in the third, those qtrs were for Mr Jameer. In the 2 qtr Bibby scored 3 and 2 in the last one, So in summary, Bibby vs Jammer 18 points, Bibby vs Carlos 5 points. So Michael, let be fair Ok??

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Leo

It's hard to pin down a certain person today because they're being so vague and dithery. Ask them a question and they'll vacillate or be unable to give you a straight answer. You might suspect them of deceitful goings on but it's far more likely that they're simply in a world of their own and can't keep their mind on anything for long. Don't worry, they'll soon be back on planet earth.
