You're 2nd....and I was at the game. Jameer played well. He is playing hurt. Zero T/O's tonight.
Yan know what I noticed in pre-game warm-ups? Jameer and Carlos really seem to like each other. That was good to see. In fact, the whole team just seems to have a good chemistry.
Michael was there a pretty big crowd ?

I pointed out after the loss to GS that Dooling was tired and not in synch... SVG must have seen that as well, JN and CA had an excellent game.

It is past time people realize that this isn't the same Magic team as last year.

The season is 82 games long. I don't have to like it, but occasionally we're going to get out-hustled. I consider winning 7 or 8 out of 10 pretty darn consistant.

I'm tired of the "doom and gloom" boys coming out to bash the team after every single loss and then acting as if we're just throwing away the season.

Guess what? Our defense was laughable at times tonight, but we were still never in danger of losing. Go Magic!

Oh, and Jim... please predict that we'll lose against the Clippers. ;-)

Nice bounce back game. The Magic played good but Atlanta really seems to always play well against them. OK Next :)
Nanningbob only 1 sentence here ? I am sorry, but that's not gonna get it done. You need to elaborate and give a little more insight here. Surely even you had to be troubled by the lackluster defensive effort ? The perimeter defense was almost non existent.

As a Magic Season Ticket holder since Day One, I'm intelligent enough NOT to make predictions about this team. That, and I don't enjoy stickin' my foot in my mouth like some posters on this blog.

Things are really bad in New York right now. First you have the Knicks who are absolutely deplorable. On top of that there was the whole Isaiah Thomas situation earlier in the season with the sexual harassment suit against him. And now the Governor gets caught with his pants down and his hand in the cookie jar. What an embarrassment for the entire state of New York.

Sir judging by that response I sense that you are fearful of making a prediction because even you feel that this Magic team is very inconsistent. Therefore it seems as though your confidence is lacking in their capabilities.

Jimbo...
Not only do I "feel" as you say, that this Magic team is "inconsistent", I AM ABSOLUTELY CONVINCED OF IT!! The last two games prove that.

But not being willing to make an uninformed "guess" like you do has nothing whatsoever to do about my feelings about the capabilities of the Magic. They certainly ARE, in fact very capable. Tonight's game is evidence of this. I have no lack of confidence in their ability to play at a high level. But pretending to be a predictor of whether or not they will play to their potential on any given night is foolhardy.

Besides, there are too many people on already on this blog willing to eat crow for making dumb predictions that aren't even CLOSE to being correct. I'd rather not be in that crowd.

Making a prediction is like taking a shot..you either make it or you dont...or you are right or wrong. Just think if the Magic are not making their shots tonight this is in fact another loss. How many times can their offense bail them out ? In particular when they rely mostly on jump shots.

By the way what is someone living in Sacramento doing rooting for the Magic ? Are the Kings really that horrific ?

Well I dont care that you dont care or if anyone else doesn't care either. I only care about the success of the Orlando Magic basketball team. I continue to tell it like it is and I dismiss your comment as though I am flicking a flea off my neck. As I do this I do a shimmy shake like Lebron after a made basket and getting fouled hard...it has no effect on me at all. As my pal Nanningbob would say....next!!

Nice win Magic!

Nice Triple Double Hedo...

How about the block by DH on Horford. Classic block. DH's head was above the rim....

Go Magic!

Oh the BTW, Jim....wrong again. I have to admit the defense was a little shabby in the 3rd, but like most NBA games, the other team is going to make a run. The difference is whether you can sustain the run and the Magic did tonight. Also, the 59 points, about 12 of those came in the last 1 1/2 minutes of garbage time. Take away those 12 points and the Magic held them under 50 points in the 2nd half.
