I predict a Magic loss tonight to the Hawks. Both teams will not reach 100 points and the final score will be in the high 80's or low 90's. It will be something like 98-91 in favor of Atlanta.
The Hawks will come out with fierce intensity and the Magic will not be able to match it. Atlanta will come into the Magic's house and snatch a victory as though they were stealing candy from a toddler.
100% wrong on this one Jim.

Oh Jimbo.....lookin' for Jimbo from Sanfo???? Where are you???

Now the TRUTH can be told. You don't know crap about the Magic. You just like to hear yourself run at the mouth and blog-brag about you prowess at analysis.

You only missed the final score....you predicted Magic loss 98-91....by about 50 points!! And your crystal ball saying the Magic would come out slow, not keeping up with the Hawks, must have been a bit cloudy, since our boys throw up 74 in the first half.

Some advice Jimbo...Leave the Magic basketball analysis to those who actually know something about the game, ok??

Much more intensity and all around effort tonight - it was good to see. Let Atlanta back in to the game a couple of times with defensive lapses and short term offensive misses but was not due to fooling around or lack of fight.

Hope we can keep it up for the rest of the regular season and then step it up another notch in the Playoffs!!

Whatever Otis and Stan said to Dwight and Jameer must have been pretty effective.
Hedo is the "triple-double trouble" superstar of the Magic! Very underrated in the NBA.

This game scared me a lot, but the Magic usually come out strong after a terrible game. But 74 in the first half with 2 TO's? That's insane!

How 'bout actually doing some fact checking and editing before you file your stories. I swear...the Magic beat-writers are the absolute worst of any paper in America.

The Magic play the LA Clippers on Wednesday night...not the Lakers.

Take some actual pride in your work, Schmitzy...

Giving up 59 points in the second half and 112 total to a team like the Atlanta Hawks is not gonna get it done. The defense was absolutely horrific in this one. The focus was not there for the full 48 minutes again tonight. Yes the Magic did score 74 points in the first half and shot over 60 percent from the field, but all that is good for is SportsCenter material.

When you have a team down by 21 points at halftime in your own building you have got to come out and bury them. The Magic allowed the Hawks to hang around just long enough before their offense was there to bail them out. But what will happen when the shots are not falling ? Will this kind of defense be enough to lead them to victory ? Absolutely not.

Sure there will be people that will be all ecstatic over scoring 74 points in a half and 123 total. But one thing you have to remember is the Magic will not be able to do this all the time, especially in the playoffs. In the playoffs you have to have intense focus and determination for a full 48 minutes. Defense is what will get it done. After all defense wins championships.

Magic play the Clippers Wednesday, not Lakers...and while i'm at it, it's Mike Bibby not Bobby. Man, they really make you rush the story out at the buzzer huh? Otherwise, keep up the good work Brian.

Anyway...good win for the Magic. I liked the way they moved the ball tonight, especially on the fast-breaks. They actually looked like a top team in the league...

Glad to hear that Otis talked to both Jameer and Dwight about being more focused and playing with intensity. Evidently he caught wind of both of them hamming it up on the court in their last loss to Golden State.

These guys are the leaders. They have to set the right example. Tonight they did a better job on the court for the most part.

Another concern for the Magic is early in the second quarter when they usually rest Howard. It seems lately that when they do this and bring in Foyle the offense is almost nonexistent and the defense also falters. The other team usually goes on a run to either cut into a lead or extend any lead that they may have.

Hopefully in the playoffs something will be done to help combat this problem. Perhaps they will shorten the amount of time Dwight will rest.

You're 2nd....and I was at the game. Jameer played well. He is playing hurt. Zero T/O's tonight.

Yan know what I noticed in pre-game warm-ups? Jameer and Carlos really seem to like each other. That was good to see. In fact, the whole team just seems to have a good chemistry.

LOL. I will give you credit for picking up on Brian S. saying Lakers instead of Clippers. But did you also see that he called Mike Bibby..Mike Bobby ?

Nice bounce back game. The Magic played good but Atlanta really seems to always play well against them. OK Next :)

The Magic did do a lot better job of protecting the basketball tonight. Only 8 turnovers was fantastic. 13 assists for Turkoglu as well as a triple double. Dwight was solid again as was Lewis. Bogans did a good job off the bench as did Arroyo. Jameer also did a decent job tonight.
