I find that funny because Paul Peirce said the exact same thing about Randolph. Knicks did not win any war of words. They will never win anything in the NBA either. They are a joke and the only way they seem to make themselves feel better is false bravado.

"They are the world champions and rah-rah-rah, the tough talk I don't buy," Richardson said. "I come from a neighborhood where you can say what you want to say and until you do something with it, it don't mean nothing. And I mean, some of those guys woofing about 'Get a ring' and blah; You ain't been in the league long enough to talk like that to some people who's got as many years as we got over here. I don't got a lot of respect for that."

i hate the NBA, but richardson is complaining that the champs were saying what they were saying b/c some players haven't been in the league long enough????
just goes to show you that it's more important to veteran status in the NBA than to have a championship. i think we're getting to the bottom of what's wrong with basketball....that and they don't play defense or pass the ball

I love the "ain't been in the league long enough.."

The heart of their team:

Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett - 12 years in the NBA
Paul Pierce - 10 years in the NBA

How much longer is "long enough?"

Had some trouble making out what Richardson was trying to say, but I love this gem:

"They do a lot of talking," Randolph said of the Celtics. "They know they are protected on court. That's why I don't pay that no mind. Because a lot of guys get off the court, they tuck their tails. That's the NBA. Guys know ain't too much can happen on the court. That's why they do a lot of talking."

In other words, if he saw these fools at a BBQ....

Their view would be more focused on you and I discussing the quotes, rather than the quotes themselves.

The Knicks have to remain competitive and retool the roster to get to 2010. That's when Wade and Lebron should put their heads together and take the maximum they can sign for, to dominate the league and possibly create a dynasty!!! They will make the millions up in marketing in this major market.

Uh Guinness Drinker, you mean the Oklahoma City Thunder who are 1-10, hasn't improved even after leaving the Emerald City. As far as the R&R Boys Richardson & Randolph are concerned:Shut your f'in traps. Until you win a chamionship, keep your damn mouths shut. You guys aren't going to win for a long while. Celtics have a right to gloat, they're the champs. Then again, they struggled for a long time before winning it all. Right now, for the Knicks just get back to respectablity before we start talking playoffs & NBA championship. Somewhere in Heaven, Red Holzman & Dave Debusschere are turning over in their graves.
