It does feel good, even with reasonable expectations! I noted some good passing and some real defensive effort. We had to shoot well because we were so out-sized up front, but that's nothing new. I also liked that we didn't fold when Washington took the lead. In the second half, I think we looked for the three too much. It was a good effort for where we are!

Wow, Knicks above .500. If this were a card game, I think you stop playing now.

I agree with pverne about not folding. The Wizards wouldn't go away and they kept fighting back and the Knicks didn't quit. That is great news and I hope it is something they keep doing.

Crawford played great until the last two minutes. Nate keeps getting better. He made a few no look passes that surprised me. Lee, what is the deal with him? Is he hurt? Its more than just the system. Chandler is showing an all-around game. Duhon was steady and that is what we need from the PG position. Its pretty obvious that Zach needs help in the paint. Lee isn't giving it to him and we need someone bigger than Chandler. I know Jeffries is coming back but I don't think that is enough. Q keeps
making a case for the bench.

I agree with you on everything but I'm not so sure whats up with Lee either. His weakness's are being exposed badly in this system. He's not good defensively, he's outsized and outmuscled almost every night. His jumpshot has improved but is still not good enough for him to be an nba starter. Or mabey he's not as good as many including myself thought. Lee is better suited coming off the bench in my opinion. The reality is he's gona be matched up against allstar caliber F's and C's every night cause the East is loaded with them. Bosh,Brand, Garnet,Howard,Jamison,Okafor and thats just the east!Knicks need size BAD. Jeffries will help but wont nearly be enough. I'm glorified to see the Knicks above .500 but lets not kid ourselves on the nights where the Knicks are not red hot from the perimeter those nights are gonna be ugly. Glad to see the win though! Get us some size Donnie!

Good points, especially about the nights when their shots aren't falling, you are right it will be ugly! That is when Zach will need some help in the paint to keep the defense honest. Those are also nights when guys like Jamal and Nate need to take it strong to the rim.
