Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni is an emotional man. It's an inextricable part of his charm, same as his run-and-gun offense and his refreshing, throwback idea that an NBA coach still can call out his players when ...

there is no 'moving' of Marbury's contract that needs to be done.

let him sit out the season on the bench or just cut him and buy out but not at the full contract value - after refusing to play and for the umpteenth time of his Knicks tenure where he's put himself ahead of the team why do him any favors of giving him a chance to play anywhere else so he can play for his next contract?

anyone who still portrays marbury as the victim is just delusional.

I say send him home and let him collect his money away from the team. He gets all those millions for doing nothing anyway. Let him rot out the year not playing for anyone, the dog. Anyone reading this is working so much harder than this punk and making chump change compared to him. Anyone crying over Marbury ought to have his head examined.

Refusing to play for the umpteenth time? You sound like Sarah Palin. Where do you get your facts from? Marbury came to camp in tip top shape out played all the other guards during the preseason and still found himself out of the rotation(Coach's decision). Is he supposed to sub himself in a game? He simply stated to Antonio(no D) that he thought they were going in another direction. By all meand he could have said nothing but does Antono(No D) deserve that much respect? Based on how he has treated Marbury since becoming the Knicks coach I would say no. That being said Marbury’s retort could not and HAS not been viewed as a refusal to play by anyone outside of Antonio(No D) some ignorant NEW Knick fans and perhaps the loser Palin. What a joke you people are. No clue about what’s really going on. Antonio(No D) because of his very thin skin and dishonest ways will not make it to 2010 so this whole Lebron thing is sort of a moot point.

Marbury should have played.

I don't blame him for not taking a buyout. He will never see that much money in his life.

But his attitude sucks.

obviously you cannot read or you would have quoted me correctly. I said "after refusing to play and for the umpteenth time of his Knicks tenure where he's put himself ahead of the team " as in the umpteenth time that he's put himself ahead of the team - which is a fact.

you little marbury defenders crack me up.

What team???
NONE of these current Knicks are in the plans for the future so your assertion about himself putting himself ahead for the umpteenth time is just as lame as you saying he refused to play for the umpteenth time. Get off of his nuts already. How many of his "teammates" went to bat for him after being ostracized by this lame ass coach for NO valid reason? Zero!! So why should he give a damn about any of them?!? Lastly HE DID NOT REFUSE TO PLAY!! So the premise of your opine was off from jump street. Get a clue clown!

Marbury is ready to play, maybe not happy about it. D'anphoney has too big of an ego. He set on embarrassing Marbury and everyone is buying in to it. he is not part of the furure, we get it, who is? Do you think Lebron would play for this mess? Dolan turned the Knicks to crap and look what he is doing to Newsday too.

can you read?if you're going to quote me or try at least do it correctly. the umpteenth time remark was tied into marbury putting himself ahead of the team, something he's done throughout his tenure here. such as ditching the team in Phoenix after being removed from the starting lineup and blackmailing or at least threatening to Isiah Thomas. maybe none of his teammates ever went to bat for him because they were tired of his act after last year's debacle - that's something marbury brought on himself and if he were serious about trying to mend fences he would have done the selfless thing and played in Milwaukee instead of the selfish route which is what he always does. just because most of these guys won't be here in 2010 doesn't give marbury the right to put himself ahead of the team - wow great logic and nice cop out. your logic is just as bad as your reading comprehension.

It's obvious that I can read and comprehend seeing as though I replied to two of your rants.
Can you think? I mean to say on your own without asserting the garbage that you read in the NY tabloids. At what point did Marbury refuse to play? Can you give me a verbatim or at least the scenario in which Dan'Phony looked down the bench and signaled for, asked, or demanded that Marbury enter the game. Can you explain to me why Marbury has not been fined or suspended by the Knicks for insubordination? While you are at it can you please confirm that Marbury left team (as opposed to being told to leave by Isaiah) that day in Phoenix. Seems to me that you are one of those people that routinely talks about issues that you have only partial or peripheral knowledge about. The truth is Marbury knew then that he was being punished not for playing bad, and not for having a bad attitude, but because he took the stand and told the truth and the Garden ended up losing it's sexual harassment case. But hey that's way too much thinking for you to do to reach the logical conclusions that I arrive at. Keep on talking out the side of your ass fool.
