This is a great opportunity to avenge a bad loss to the Mavs. Celtics in my opinion are the best team in the east right now but something gives me the feeling if the Knicks play thier butts off they could steal a win in Boston tonite. If KG was playing I would be much less confident because of the way opposing bigs have dominated the Knicks.

Knicks made a major blunder by giving up Balkman for nothing. Still boggles my mind. Here you have a guy who can run the court, finish fast breaks, block shots, steal in the open court, play good defense, tip in shots, dive on the court for open balls and he is expendable? What are you thinking Donnie? Sure Chandler is doing well and can do a lot of the same things, but if you have two Monet paintings do you give the other away because it is different? Alright bad analogy but you get the point. It was a shortsighted move and one that will haunt the Knicks for a decade or more.
By the way, back page news headlines "Zach Randolf Accidently blocks a shot" thereby ruining his perfect 0.0 block per game stat.

Let's remember this team is a work in progress, New system and new roles for players...

There's one very important fact you left out: Balkman can't shoot a lick from the outside. In the D'Antoni system, the wing players have to be able to shoot from the outside. The trade made sense as Wilson Chandler has better upside... Sorry, don't mean to give Isiah too much credit here...

The question is would Marbury want to go to the Heat. He's what they need, and thats a playmaker & a lead guard. They seem to be what he needs, a team willing to give him considerable minutes and a chance to restore what little cred he has left.. Could be a win-win, but only time will tell.
