Mr. Morey,
I've been sitting and thinking about the increased amount of pressure that everyone seems to love to throw at T-Mac whenever the playoff time gets closer. So I've thought of a marketing opportunity for a commercial that not only takes the focus off of T-Mac but also shows how the Rockets have come full circle as a unified force. The marketing campaigne is titled, "It's On Us". This means that "It's On Us", as a team not just one person. If the team doesn't succeed, it's because of the team and not just T-Mac or Yao Ming. The commercial can first show a clip from T-Mac's initial "It's On Me", interview and then it can show a clip from the end of the last game of the series against the Utah Jazz when the Rockets lost. It can then show the hurt and emotional moment that T-Mac went through after the final seconds ended. A clip of a few comments and critisism from analysts that were made after the loss about T-Mac and his predictions and. Fast foward to the new and improve Rockets team and their dominating efforts as of late and show T-Mac first saying the same prediction. "It's On Me". Then Rafer Alston, "It's On Me". Then Shane Battier, "It's On Me", Then Louis Scola< It's On Me, Luther Head, and so on and so on. After everyone including the coach ahs said "It's On Me". The team can say it together; "It's On US!" It may even be a good idea to have some of the fans say It's On me as well. This is a message putting all of the NBA on notice that just because we lost Yao Ming, that doesn't change our team effort. What do you think about that?
