most people did say the spurs didnt have a chance to win those all 4 of those titles at some point wether it was at the beginning of the finals or the playoffs.
barry, i will give you that, but not horry. that last season horry was with the spurs was when it was pretty obvious he was done.
and how are their players just now getting older? finley, jacque vaughn, and kurt thomas have been considered a veterans ever since they came to the spurs, bowen has been a veteran for quite a while, and oberto is getting about 6 minutes less this year than what he was last year and thats because he has been sharing more minutes with thomas, bonner, and now gooden. if the spurs lose, then it will not be because of their bench.
yes, i did pay attention to fouls and calls that didnt go the lakers way in that game 1 last year. i would say both teams got pretty much the same through out the game besides the end of it. that last minute and a half, every call seemed to go the lakers way no matter how obvious it was. duncan got hit in the stomach and the arms numerous times but no foul was called. that one time where pau gasol slapped the ball out of duncans hands, he actually hit duncan on the hand, the ball went out but didnt get called, and then gasol hit it out again and crawford said it was out on duncan and a lakers ball. games 2, 3, and 4 were all good reffed games and game 5 barry didnt get the foul where fisher jumped on top of him.
and the spurs being the only team to beat the lakers, i might disagree with that to. i think the hornets may have a chance. but denver, houston, utah, dallas, portland, or any of the other teams, cant see that happening.
Those players being vets has nothing to do with them getting to old now.
the Lakers bench there game is to run, spurs bench will not want to run with them.
You will see when the Lakers and Spurs meet, cause we both know they will meet.

Well tell me then about the calls that You saw that were bad calls against the Lakers?

Sorry the Fisher and barry call, was a good no call, no matter what angle You see the contact was done by barry and when it happened, he was not in the act of shooting, he even dribbled the ball, the cancels the continuation in case a foul would had been called, if barry had not taken a dribble to get fisher while in the air, then Yes I would say it was a foul, but he took the dribble.

The problem with barry was that he moved toward fisher while fisher was in the air, he can't do that, he can't create the contact that way and expect a foul.

The same way I don't see any of those teams taking out S.A., I don't see them taking out the Lakers.

The best 2 teams in the west are Lakers and S.A.

Boston needs to get healthy, they are still the team to beat until some one knock them down.

Boston last season did not play this Lakers team and this season they have not been able to beat the Lakers, so things may end up different.

i believe the spurs and lakers will meet again, but im not counting denver, utah, or new orleans out.

i only remember the calls at the end of the game which everyone of them that were called or didnt went against the spurs. for most of the game, i remember the calls being pretty much even.

omg, it was so obvious that it was a foul on fisher and should of been called. from what i remember, barry went up, got hit and couldnt get the shot off, and then fisher landed on top of him. so there there were actually two times on that one play where a foul should of been called.

Stephon Marbury will NOT help Boston in the playoffs, off the bench or not. He is a ball hogg and cares only of him. Lakers and Orlando in finals.

marbury will help them out and is a great player. the knicks just tried to screw him over because they brought in a new coach who doesnt like him. and if its not boston in the finals, it will definitely be cleveland. hell, i think they just might be able to beat them out anyway.

Coach Mike had good reason, the Knicks are a better TEAM now without. As for my Lakers; they are the hungriest team and they are going all the way to the parade on Figueroa St. baby.

if the spurs are healthy and playing like they can, i have a feeling they might upset the lakers. but if the lakers do somehow beat them and its a repeat in the finals against boston, boston will beat them again.

Even if steph was'nt on the celtics, the celtics still will win the title, and about the spurs upsettin the lakers,i agree,i think they won 4 titles in 9 years, they have a lot playoff experience, and veterans who know how to play the game, they been there, and done that,so if they stay healthy and play like they did when they won the the title in 07,then they gonna have a chance at beatin the lakers, but they wont get past the celtics though
If any team is going to push it to 5 or 6 it's going to be Utah, those guys are solid and Deron Willams is my 2nd vote for mvp behind (of course) Kobe. Now the Spurs better bring a nurse 2 doctors and a respirator if they think they can run with the Lake Show.

Actually barry took a step foward to drible when fisher went up, to create the contact.

He can't create contact like that, Had he not taken the step to drible then it's a foul no problem, he needed to lean into fisher to create the contact, problem was fisher jumped far away for barry to that. Barry needed the extra step to get close to fisher.
But after the contact he even continue to take drible, that kill the foul completely.

Barry didn't do it right, that's why there was no call.

That's not true.

Marbury and his attidude created all his own problems, things don't happened out the blue, not things like that.

N.Y. got tired of behavior, he got lucky they paid him, his contract out.

Last night the Lakers had less than 7 turnovers and beat Houston by 20 or so. Not commiting turnovers in my view, are equal if not greater than playing great defense. Also I stated that Orlando will be the Lakers dance partner, I know it was only 1 game, but man they took a healthy Cavs team out by 30+. Wow

i know he had problems with larry brown and then isiah thomas, but my point was that he was under contract with the knicks and they tried to get out of it without even trading him. i didnt like marbury's attitude, but you dont just not a pay a guy because you dont want him anymore. i may not agree with how the player acts, but i also blame it on the organization because they should of known what they were getting. if you dont want to pay him anymore, then either trade him, put him on waivers, or release him.

The attitude problems Marbury, go pass the Knicks from The T-wolves,to the Nets, to Phoenix and now New York.

Sorry, but is not easy to trade a $20 mil contract mostly when other teams don't want him for that kind price tag.

No team would want to pick a Marbury on waivers, they had to pick what is left of his contract, no team wants that mostly when the team that picks him is far enough under the salary cap.

The best options were to let him sit the year out or to do a buyout. It didn't help that Marbury's greed would demand a full buyout.
If Marbury wanted to move on and just play as bad as he claimed, he would had agree to the buyout like all the other players that really want to move on and just play.

He wouldn't even give up on a mil out his contract get the buyout going, come on man.
Is that greed or what?

He created his own drama, no one else to blame.

NONE SENSE!

Is he starting over Rondo? Last time I check no.
